not telling everyone to do it. but i have ran premium in my sled. and i know its around 17 - 20lbs. dont get me wrong i have put ave gas in it.. but i dono.. just never cared really.. if it blows it blows.

also running race fuel can case harm in the motor.. as it takes longer to burn off if you dont have high compression.. can cause the exhaust manifold to crack.... herd of a few ppl having this issue

Heh tfitz,,i just installed the 240 kit on mine what boost did u run?? mine is just hitting 15 lbs..Did you just run premium om yours. I was told to run 25% at lower elevation,,i mostly ride valemont and revy too

I was running around 14psi, and just ran Premium had no issues and all my riding was in Blue River Valemount, I think I did see mine touch 15psi also once, and at home in Barrhead I also ran Premium, only rode it once for 15kms though

Thank you Randy and Summitboy. I can't count how many calls I get from people from winnipeg, MB to Whistler,BC wondering what to do for fuel in these sleds because so and so said this. Randy has been running his on pump, MCX says its fine on pump, all of ours have had zero issues on pump fuel. I am not saying you have to run pump, if you want to run race gas i know where your coming from. I would be curious to hear somebody chime in who ran a mcx-270 nytro and had a detonation because of bad fuel. Haven't seen it, but I could be wrong...

310 MCX Apex.....at max 18 PSI I run straight AV 100LL fuel....but when running at 15 PSI I mix 50-50 with chevron 94......it is only 15 cents diffeence but trying to cut back on the lead! race fuel is hot and I heard it also cracks exhaust manifolds....

Running straight av for safety. Installed manual boost controller in case I get in a pinch and just turn boost down and ride home on premium. Especially around home.
