My views are different then others I'm sure. But, I run 50/50 C12 or C111 and premium all the time. If I ride at home I turn the boost down as much as possible and never go WOT for more than a second. Watch your tach that will give you a good Idea what you need to do, IF your smashing the rev limiter turn the boost down. And remember If you go WOT in a ditch long around edmonton your going to hit a culvert or approach at over 100MPH.

Where's the pics? I had a couple xm's then got into snowbiking (so fun) but for the super deep days I grabbed a turbo nytro, similar sled as yours but the 270 mcx kit and a 162, I've never even been on one, should be interesting lol

I forgot to mention about your fuel question. You can run what ever you want as your turbo will make its own atmosphere at high or low elevation, it doesnt care.
All you need to remember is, if you choose to run pump gas like 91. Turn the boost down, the lowest it will go is likely 8-10lbs. You cannot stop the boost, there is always boost. You can safely run 12-14lbs on 91. After that it best to mix.
BTW i have ran 16lbs on 91 but limited short pulls and not long chute pulls. Hope that helps.

Also the sled will have an O2 sensor with guage, unless it got removed. No build's would come out of CR with out one. You can monitor the motor this way. 13-14.7 is idea. Anything lower is rich anything higher is lean.

Didn't you not read this post? ^^^^^^^^

One thing I have not seen anyone else do but I have on my Nytro. I run a turbo smart dual stage boost controller.
You can adjust each setting to your liking. i.e: Low boost at say 12 and high boost at 18. At the flick of a toggle you can go to high boost.
So what I have done is clutched mine for the 18lbs of boost. Then when you are on low boost you can't pull full revs because your clutched for way higher horsepower. Even at 12lbs and only revving around 7700 rpm these things are amazing.
As for Fuel I can run safely at 12-14lbs with 91. But I always mix 50/50 with 91 and 111. Only reason being I don't trust pump gas to be true.
I don't beleive in mixing this day cause I'm riding here then mixing different for the next day cause I'm riding there.
Way easier to mix the same all the time and just flip my toggle for the boost I want.
90% of the time I run low boost. Then flip the switch to high when I really want to have fun.

By the way thats a sweet looking ride! M1RYguy
My Nytro is still my favourite sled. I usually only pull it out when the snow is waist deep or deeper.
Then its really fun.

Thanks for the info, this sled I picked up has a turbosmart boost controller mounted in the rear storage of the seat, don't think it's a dual stage, not sure, I was wondering what guys do when they turn the boost up and down with clutching, your saying you basically dont touch it?just either revving at 8800ish at 18# and revving lower at less boost is ok? Guy I bought the sled off of ran avgas so I'll probably just stick with that. I can't wait to try this thing out

Yes even reving at 8000 or so on low boost these things will still outpull just about anything out there.
If the turbosmart is dual control it is a small electronic box with two adjustment knobs on it.

Ive got a 2013 nitro with the mcx 270 kit. Mix 50% av gas with premium and run lower boost for when your at home.
Crank up the boost and you can use less av gas for when your in the mountains. I only add 6 litres of 112 race gas to every tank when I'm up in the mtns and I've got over 3000 Kms with no issues.

What kind of boost are you running in mountains? And stock tank or trail tank??
