hey Fred do you think the silber turbo on the 850 would survive on 5lbs. at Revy and how does the bottom end throttle responce compare to the redline for tree riding on and off the flipper tks.

I have buddy's that been at 5lbs for years now with his Sibler kit and trouble free, Redline says stock injectors max out at 5
Lbs, but would I trust it on a 60
Second wot pull.... not sure

Sibler only ran for a few days before it took motor down at seven lbs but it felt very good, it was very clean and responsive..

Redline's feels also responsive, not
Sure if I could tell that apart, but there is more primary weight in redline and runs 8-10psi, so it's not a fair comparison to Sibler at 7..

Sibler's biggest weekness I think was the mismatched airbox giving more air to pto and then stick secondary injectors if you go above five lbs boost it relys on stock computer to detune timing and pull threw..

There kit we be fine up to 5 lbs, but watch out after, Redline's good to 11 lbs and trouble free so far, motor likes boost

I asked last season if you had any type of starting issue with your kit. I found out they are no longer removing the internal check valve from the pump housing. I purchased a high flow brass check valve from Quantum Fuel and installed it where the fuel pressure hose comes out of the pump. All is well again and the fuel system does not bleed back fuel even after sitting for a hour. Just a little heads up....

Picture for me please, would like to resolve that.. his kit so far has been working flawless, hope it continues.. thanks for sharing

Nice, can’t wait to here how it will run for you now with the mod... had it out this last week in Revy and it ran well again, the odd time it needed a stab at the throttle on start up, but runs very clean

Started on the diamond s hood air box mod.. might just pool cold air threw Center of hood and mount gauge cluster.. not sure yet to mount air temp sensor, was just mounted in airbox before.. will quiz Dave

Out with a few buddy’s, did some comparisons with the new 175tdoo and stage four Sibler tune with there intake piping and can.. we found a few glitches in the tune at wot.. but if flipper at 3/4, all was good

Had also some Sibler 850s running 7-8 boost 165” as well, for the foot of fresh we had they all ran very comparable for 7 lbs

One of the Sibler’s lost a reed later in day, pretty sure not much left on table for hp..

did see a fair amount of rolling resistance with stock drivers compared to the 7 tooth on two of the sleds.. almost shocking go down hill the difference

Sibler’s and redline same track speed of 117km, stocker tdoo was 107km max speed

Well spent some time installing the diamond s hood, had to change the hood around to accommodate the post forward kit, and then figure out a way to attach gauge cluster.. since I used that hole for the boost snorkel..altered air temp sensor to intake hose just under hood and moved a/f gauge to front side of riser.. feel it should be strong for roll overs and such.. will find out soon I guess

the hood design fits well but they could of done a better fit on there metal sheets on rear of hood, not bent the best for the natural curvature of the frame plastics around heater/headlight controls..might just make for better air movements

about a ten lb weight savings, but loose headlight and a little storage, but what I seen doing this mod on the xm, it allows for better snow travel over hood and easier driver fatigue.. it actually had a noticeable feel in weight transfer to front skis...

Little seat time with the new hood post forward kit and snorkel and loving the changes, just what the doctor ordered, much better engine cooling, clutch cooling and noticeable weigh drop feel, could be the post forward kit, but with both changes it was what I was looking for..

snorkel also got rid of the start quirks we had before, maybe the location made the difference, made a noticeable gain on spool up, runs very clean.. Seen a/f at 12.2-12.5 now at 7kfeet..

helmet lights work almost as good in dark

For myself, I was fighting the rear skid and handling of the g4 since I got the sled, the xm t3 felt so light in comparison and was my go to sled for most rides... just all around better feel

But now with the line craft skid it was better but far from perfect, but
now recently with the changes of fine tuning the front rear shock, and the forward kit your body placement is now forward over the front drivers, allowing a much easier driver position to offer your driver intentions, before I was bent over and limits your body extensions.. fighting te sled to say the least

from last ride to this ride it felt like day and night difference.. hood weight and better spool from cold air just added to fun factor

Waiting on a little stiffer rear shock spring for ski lift on steep and deep, but overall it’s 90’percent perfect.. the last 5mph on wot is the tricky zone, always playing with throttle to hold skis down

how many inches does the post forward do for u

It moves it up a good two inches to the front of the sled, it will also raise your stock riser up some, allows for a strait post and riser

Back a ways in this thread I posted about the check valve I installed. Installing the check valve took care of my starting problem 100%. No negative effects to fuel pressure, it is maintained right at 42-44 psi. Sled now starts first pull, hot or cold. Just a FYI.

Very good to know, I might install one as well, I also found the new cold
air snorkel to help assist that start glitch as well

Now with a few more rides under the belt on this setup I’m starting to really like it over all, on Saturday we had some of the deepest snow this year and many others having intake problems due to snow piling up on intakes.. over fueling and such.. neck deep in places..

the redline setup with the snorkel never even had miss, or skip, sled pulled as strong as it did from day one and 7-8 lbs all day long, ran threw a full tank and Jerry can by 3pm

spool up stayed quick and consistent, even with exhaust barried that deep in snow

clutching ran cool and on the money all day, times of over 1minute plus of wot.. everything the body could take.. still on Original belt

went with the heavier rear 400 lb rear spring on raptors last month and now skid is holding the Hp well, and gives great rear clearance to running boards in the deep.. ride is a little stiff on rought trail, but can accept that, skis in the steep and deep are planted

want to install a lcd boost gauge over the small liquid filled one now, just to hard to see boost on wot, also received a tki belt drive this last week and plans to install that as well, Dave at redline has it in his climber and not breaking belts he says, but need to be careful on shock load if it comes down hard on a jump on wot

road with redline on Saturday and he had the Ho kit on a new 174 850 Polaris .. I must say that was impressive and responsive, fuelling was precise and clean as suspected, the technical that he and the Poo can do is a gift to watch, makes a guy want one, and climbs pretty dam good as well..

he also had his low boost kit in a 850 and very respectful as well, the stock tdoo never had a chance at where it was going in the deep

First weekend with the tki belt drive and no problems, remounted shot worked fine and tied to to a-frame ....retensioned after 20km, seams everyone has a idea in correct tension, would like to here from others for max belt and bearing life

Differences I felt were a quicker and stronger spool up, top end felt the same, climbed some knarly wot pulls, maybe a bit more vibration felt on boards.. also felt the larger belt cover on right foot, loose a little boards up front..hope it last like it should

might look for stiffer front shocks, stock kyb seam to be a little soft for trail out..
