Renshaw 17 Mar 2018 Saturday
The sun was playing hide and seek today
Snow..1 inch....upto 2 inches of fresh all over..
Hard packed under the fresh.
Spring condition type snow.
Hero snow traction for the most part.
Trail in was good...and not too bad coming out.
Frozen trail in the morning...
Softened up in the afternoon.
Parking lot was ice/snow in the morning.
By the afternoon...mud/slush/puddles

Back up Renshaw and out to the outer limits and back! Sun was decent till late afternoon. Ran into a few faces we knew out there!! And just as we got back to the cabin the crank bearing went in the old pro!!! But had a great season, back next year! Higgins.

I've seen ski loops tied tight to bumper and that seems to work good. This way probably works also.

Googled those names you posted.....I could be wrong but I think you are on the wrong end of Renshaw for Kakwa?

But you are close to Ptarmigan lake. and yes you can get to Loren but you are dangerously close to Wilmore.

More than likely they came in Holmes river and up Chalco Creek, then wiggled there way onto Loren Lake. There was logging cutblocks from many years ago back there. They definitely did not drop down from Mt Mikado, we’ve tried every creek and gully as it just gets to steep and narrow.
