You are more than welcome to come with my cousin and I to Renshaw.
There are two of us going there today.
Take you as close or faaaar from the cabin as you want.

We had same problem with 2 of our group of 4.
PM'd you my cell, call and text me.

Rode Renshaw.
4 in our group.
4 in snow seeker and shredders group.

Ooops left phone in room.
No pictures.

Just the 8 of us in the back side all day.
Solid 20" fresh with up to 30"deposits in areas.

F'in wickedly sick day in the hill.
Burned my two spare cans and could have easily used two more!

Sunny tomorrow - going to get some at Spirit tomorrow.
No need for secret spot pockets.......deep everywhere!!!!!!

Forgot to say this snow is on top of the 16" they got the previous day!!!!!!
Possibly best riding conditions in 18 years of Renshaw. It's that good.

We laid a track to the important places.......aka spirit and beyond. You should have no trouble getting there.
Still deep! Took three pulls to get out of Spirit lake.
Burned both spare tanks and one bar at the truck. Dam, could have rode a little more.
Burned two spare tanks two days in a row...great snow!

Cousins turn for camera JCH so no pics till tomorrow.

Great riding with you guys.
Will post some pics of Spirit tomorrow.
Broke trail all the way there, have some awesome sunny pics.
Best two days back to back ever at Renshaw.
Met up with a father son team from Wetaskwin - man did they ever put their two cats through the paces. GREAT riders and exceptionally nice peps!

For those that choose to go to Spirit there is only one way there.

From the time you leave Renshaw's backside to drop down the narrow sweeping chute and until you pass the memorial plaque for the 5 sledders we lost and get past the creek and onto the flats with the little spruce trees you are in some fairly high risk avy terrain.

A bit dissapointing on the way back to see the amount of tracks on the faces that slide in this area. Second weekend in a row this has been going on.

This is a pass through section only and NOT a play or rest area just as much as avalanche alley is at Vale's Allan Creek.

Do not tempt fate in this area or you will pay the price.

You are on your way to some exceptional riding terrain....be smart on the way there!

A video is priceless to explain conditions in Renshaw yesterday (Sat 31 Mar 3018)

Because of nice cool temps...snow is in awesome condition.
Trail in was great...trail out ...a bit of whoops.
But it's being groomed again from what the sign says..
Parking lot was mostly frozen so access was good..
After you leave the pavement as you are heading to staging...the gravel road was in pretty good shape...not like 2 weeks ago..slimy and all

@bsoluk...I also have spare primary for axys on me..pm sent

Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
The lack of backshift is the cause of your sled getting stuck. The rpms are all over the place and in a climb they are low. Im not familiar with the team secondary so I can't advise a remedy except for clean both clutches and put in a new belt and try it out.

I don’t have a pic of you stuck in the wind tunnel. I couldn’t see you from where Darren, Tom and I were stuck.
