Seems like awful low kms to delete already. Thats a lot of warranty to throw away. The newer Ram's are getting great mileage stock. My 14 was getting 20-21 mpg hwy. Wish my Dirtymax was as good.
Like everyone else said, I'd steer clear of it.
Not to mention they are supposedly cracking down in BC on trucks with deletes.

The guy deleted at 300km. I am going to keep looking or maybe go new.

What is a good price on a new one? I get about $8000 discount from my work and they have no charge cummins on right now. I build one online MSRP around $83000 and my price about $65000 before talking to a dealer. That seems pretty f'n good already? What you guys think? Anyone have good luck with any dealers within a reasonable distance from Edmonton?

typically 20 grand off a loaded diesel is average and doing good. Some guys that aren't shopping around are only getting 10k off and some guys that love to haggle or know how to haggle can get a little more of but not much. If you can get that for 65k your in the right price range.

all depends on the options are on the truck and what a guy is trading if he has cash or financing. traded a 2012 ram 3500 laramie for a 17 350 platinum build and with 0% financing right now with ford. im into it for under 40 before i sell all the extras off the ram some guys may do better but i was happy with it

$20k off is about right, so you should be able to get that $83k MRSP truck for around $63k all in.

I dunno why everyone is so scared of deleted trucks? Yea i get the fact that there is a chance it could have been beat on BUT there will be signs of abuse. Coolant, trans fluid, blow by, etc are key indicators there is issues. Guys are deleting these thing to keep the engine healthy, I have mine for a week and the emissions came off and at 30k the intake had about 1/4 inch of soot build up the whole way around. The urea is a joke, it freezes regularly no matter what make you have, and the dpf sensors are always giving you trouble. That equals going to a dealer and giving them your truck for the day because gone are the days of a quick in and out at the stealerships. That and the fact that every time ive ever went in for warranty i end up paying for some bs thing or another anyways. I dont think you should be scared, do you backround checks on the thing, run it thought a shop with real diesel techs, not stealership techs, and if it all checks out jump on it. just my $0.02

I drove my 2015 ram right from the dealer to the shop. Deleted all the emissions with efi live. I'm planning on keeping this truck and wanted it to be clean from the get go. Almost 50k on it now and hasn't missed a beat. I deleted my 2010 as well, had 80k on without an issue before trading it in on a 2013. 2013 I kept stock and had issues with both the transmission and emissions system, go figure.

A ton of emissions problems are related to people using their diesels as grocery getters instead of their intended purpose. In 80k I had not had a single issue with the emissions or urea, no freezing up the first 2 winters it was parked outside either. With a nearly new truck, no signs of abuse will show up yet. If a truck with 50k has blowby, something is very very wrong. Also in many cases deleting is a sign of other things like programmers and other tinkering around. I personally won't go close to any vehicle with any of that stuff. Some people treat them properly, but most are beat to hell.

Proof? Where? Not saying it doesn't happen, but I never seen or heard of a stopcheck or someone getting a ticket. Unless of course you are drawing attention to yourself.

All in? As in tax included? I doubt you are buying a '17 with 83k sticker for 60k. Maybe this fall....maybe. And maybe a Dodge because they have to give em away, but not now.

Agree not a chance in 2017 you're getting a loaded diesel 1 ton for $63k out the door.
High $60's is likely best price out the door.

Vehicle prices have gone up ~25% in last few years due to our dollar so can't compare to prices we paid from a few years ago anymore.

If anyone's interested in a ford, a friend is selling a 2016 f350 drw platinum with 9k on it for $60000. It's part of his late in laws estate that he has no use for. Fully deleted with aftermarket wheels and 35's right from the dealer. It was purchased for $102k last year.
60 is what the estate owed to pay it out. Hell of a deal if you are in the market for a big-ass truck.

My 16 3500 runs 12-13 bone stock, Pre-def motor I'd do the same as you too.

Stock 2015, 25000 km.

13-14 l/100 on a highway trip. 15 ish city. 22 pulling a loaded heavy trailer on down the highway.



Only would get better that 13 pushing the reset button going down hill or pure flats. Never on a true average for a trip.


Thats all good for me, I have 2 other gas trucks that get 20-22 when not loaded up. Don't really check the gauges on them just swipe the card at the pumps.


Cool to have a few more pony's sometimes but not worth the risk to delete!

Please don't spread BS rumours sponsored but Justine Turdo and Rachel Naughty, we live in Canada bud, not California. There are NO laws in Canada regarding diesel emissions equipment, if you are a coal rolling tard that likes to waste fuel and smoke out the leaf lickers in their Prius at an intersection, the local RCMP have a whole pile of infractions they'd be more than happy to provide you with. The vast majority simply want better mileage, a little more power and can't stand dealing with / paying for urea ( which by the way creates 10x the atmospheric pollution through its production and plastic container manufacturing as it prevents ), for that there is no fine, yet. So please don't give the tree hugging granola munching leaf licking ohv area closing basement dwelling unemployment collecting pieces of $hit any ideas.
If you buy a diesel and want to keep it for any length of time I believe you are crazy not to delete it, the **** that the EGR puts back into any modern diesel is just wrong. 2006 duramax deleted from new, finally died after being severely abused for 500,000 plus km, 2012 Dodge, deleted from new, 180k, no issues other than a stupid water pump seal at 160k, 2016 duramax, fully deleted, only 40k so far but 0 issues, runs like a top and getting an extra 200km per tank. Just my $.02

$87k sticker, $67k all in. $20k off all in is very doable if you know how to negotiate. Also, the fees are all garbage some dealers are pushing trying to make more money, some charge no fees whatsoever right off the bat so it's less off then you actually think.

High $60k's all in on a dodge is realistic, especially for the 8 year old 4th gen model.

I bought my 10 duramax with the dpf deleted with 165k on it I then straight piped it and did the egr delete. 273k on it now and I've only had to change a few glow plugs. Average running around it sits in the high 15L/100 and I will get 500-600km to a tank of fuel open highway driving 110-120kmh it drops to 11 and I will get 700-750 km to a tank. I don't have any performance tunes and it doesn't blow any black smoke which I really like. I love this truck and I will delete my next one.

I get the same kind of deal through work... I go to Chrysler build and price web site.. after you do that... good luck trying to find a dealer to honour that price... I ran into that problem... went to pick up my mega cab... it was a crew cab long box... next time I try... but I hear others have had good success... I was using a dealer in NW region of AB
