Tampa or panthers. He's from the panthers originally and his house and wife's in Florida. There is a few teams that would be interested I think.

There would be interest in him but no team is going to do it for the full contract amount, canucks will have to pay to get rid of him unless they find a sucker to take him. No team is going to want him expecting him to be their goalie deep into the playoffs, unless they have a back up good enough to start.

If there backup is good enough ,why would they want LOU....??? If the Nucks go out in the first round(which they will) heads will role....
Lou is a BIG problem for them goin foward..........IF they trade CS ,they will take the heat if/when lou sucks again. No one is taking lou ,so they are stuck in concrete so to speak......................

Everybody hates winners I guess,Ive been a Canuck fan for 35 years and they have always been like this, not just this group, they are either on fire or suck, been like that forever,as far as lou goes he is not my fav goalie but he has takin his team to 2 presidents cup wins in a row, plus all the way to game 7 of the stanley cup;and a olympic gold so not like hes the worst there is,as I said not a huge fan myself but hey he has done more then most, besides its sports, anyone can win or lose at anytime, somes luck, sometimes just a bad day[I no from playing lots of sports, won when had no chance, lost when shoulda kicked but],well that my say,to all you Calgary and Edmonton fans you MIGHT make it next year, atleast Edmonton wins something, first draft pick:rolleyes:

In case the back up shits the bed like loungo is known for? Or the way a lot of teams goal tending is, two half decents one might be better then one star.

I cannot see any team having confidence in him taking a team to a cup after what he has done in vancouver.

Personally, i dont mind Lou, he does struggle down low, and on angle shots that are near his trapazoid, he really needs to work on that aspect of his game. I really think if he could shake the media pressure out of his head during the games, he would be great. Vancouver seems to be sharing the same problem Montreal did 2 years ago, with Carey , and Halak, nobody will ever forget the amazing run that Jaro put on as the backup. He just really needs to put that mental pressure behind him while playing because it is effecting his game. Price was able to shake it of in the midst of the hell that the Montreal media has, and has rebounded. His partner being traded to St Louis has thrived, sharing the twine with Brian Elliott, argueably the best tandem in the league this year by a long shot.

with the anal-ization soon to begin.

So what happened down the stretch with Kesler, Bieska, Edler, Raymond, Burrows, Salo, Higgins, Hansen,.....no drive, no play-off enthusiasm, no jump, no desire?????????

I didn't put in the Sedins' as we know how Daniel's concussion would have effected Henrik. I also didn't get into goal tending as IMHO, that wasn't the issue; goal scoring and lack of pressure from speed and desire did them in.

a big guy back then was 5'10 180 lbs, now you have kids coming into the league 6'4+ 230+ lbs full of piss and vinegar. they are stronger faster and bigger then back in the day, so with greater speed and mass comes more injuries.

Bhahahaahaha oh come on now! there was some decent size boys back in the day! and so what about size you dont see some running back in football crying when he gets creamed by some 300+ freight train running at him! oh yeah they us less equipment to. the hockey league now is starting to get a little dramatic yeah some bad hits but a lot of drama!

i think they dont have the right toughness been saying it for years ... goaltending for a change wasnt an issue goal scoring went for sheet ...i can see them getting a bit for schieder cant see them being able to move louongo with that length and term

Schnieder will be stayin and there are reports of 4 different teams that are interested in luongo. They didnt seem to get there powerplay goin and they spent WAY to much in the pbox themselves.

Play football on concrete with roller blades. Then you see the speeds and impact that you get in hockey.
