and you mock others for their intelligent answers.......theres so much hockey knowledge in this forum we could make a team that wins the cup every year.....

chit lets be honest it doesnt matter wtf you know, or think you know about hockey, you have no fawkin clue how any of it will pan out......the oilers made it to the finals when people thought they would be out in the first round, teams coming in at 8th with no big names have made it all the way......come on.......phuck calgary didnt make it into the play of either, maybe their farm team should have tried instead right?

i love to stir the pot and fling chit about the play offs, in fact love it. but i will never come on here and claim i know phuck all about who will actually win, especially in the first round, nor talk chit about how another team would never make it, or spout my knowledge as gospel and talk who can beat who or win a match yup against who......ya know why???????

because if i knew, i would me making millions working in the NHL........so until you are a head coach, a scout, or even a phuckin announcer, you know chit, you know as much chit as i do.....and not half the chit cyle does.......

and thats that

I'm not angry just have some basic hockey knowledge.

3 talented players don't win cups: Washington(Ovechkin, Backstrom, Semin, Green) Vancouver(H.Sedin, D.Sedin, Luongo, Schneider, Bieska) San Jose(Thorton, Marleau, Couture, Burns, Boyle) Tampa(Lecavier, St. Louis, Stamkos) LA (Kopitar, Brown, Richards, Carter, Doughty, Quick, Bernier)

Players like RNH fall apart against defencemen like Chara, Regehr, Bieska.
Players like Hall fall apart against big tough 4th lines.
Eberle is a talented player no doubt about it I will give you that.
After that, Calgary's AHL team could beat the oilers.
[/QUOTE]

Well that was a rambling mess. I was not talking about this years playoffs or even regular season play. I was just saying, the oilers have 3 good players, that doesn't mean they are a stanley cup contender. Calgary has several very good players, doesn't mean we will be winning the Stanley cup or even making the playoffs anytime soon.

Doesn't mean they aren't talented hockey players. They have been able to carry their team to the playoffs, haven't seen the oilers lottery line or even iginla/kipper do that recently.

bahahaha could care less about the oilers, canucks, flames, leafs, senators, canadiens unfortunately the canadian teams are crapping the bed and have been for a very long time it really sucks for canada but oh well atleast the yankee teams have most of our canadian players so we still technically bring home the cup every year lol! never once said they were untalented but come on now how badly do they gotta suck and crap the bed every year in the palyoffs for someone to realise hey the combo we have doesnt not know how to finish what they have started. I'd love to see a canadian team win it again thats forsure but the canucks need to get there heads out of there ass and play some serious hockey. they start so strong then just die right off when it counts

Seems to me VAN was one game short of winning the big prize last year so when did they die off? Also, I am always at a loss when everyone comes down hard on the Sedins. I can see fans of opposite teams disliking the likes of Kessler, Lap, Burrows (old Burrows) but I wish the NHL had more players like the Sedins to watch a good quality game with talent. Hank took a huge hit from Brown and we all thought he was done. But not the case. Daniel was out with a concussion but after missing 12 games he comes out and skates circles around LA last night when he finally got his rhythm. Not saying VAN will win this series and must admit being a fan of the Canucks can be frustrating sometimes but all teams out there have their issues with bonehead players, divers, sucker punchers, yappers etc etc. $hit we even have those type of guys on this forum.

more talent like the sedins? come on now when one is out the other cant do anything true talent would be not to miss a beat if your brother isnt there. and for skating circles around L.A. come on everyone watched schneider make HUGE saves to keep them close that penalty shot of browns was a big stop Luongo surely couldnt have done it,it wasnt the sedins 1 goal that won the game! everyone in the nhl now a days has a concussion you didnt hear about that kind of stuff when hockey started only until a few years ago do you really start hearing this. Everyone is saying how violent hockey has become and it needs to get monitored.......it's hockey it was fine for fights and big hits back in the old days when they had no helmets or wore a leather mask but now it's not ok! Might as well bubble wrap everyone out there.

first off, the season danial was out with a broken ankle or whatever, hendrik won the art ross trophy, so ya he can still perform without his brother. second of all a big guy back then was 5'10 180 lbs, now you have kids coming into the league 6'4+ 230+ lbs full of piss and vinegar. they are stronger faster and bigger then back in the day, so with greater speed and mass comes more injuries. you dont get a feel for just how fast these guys are until you watch first row. so ya your post is invalid

Actually i think Don Cherry said it best, what they need to do is give all the players the 'OLD SCHOOL" gear they had back in the day because yah you could lay out big hits and such but you also felt it and if you missed a hit you paid for it big time as you really felt it. The other thing that i think the nhl needs to do to stop a bunch of these head shots and other things thatare causing concusions is if a player makes a bad hit and gets a suspension it should be longer than the guy that is injured. So if daniel was out for 12 games then the guy that hit him should be out for 15-17 games. And like when crosby got hit that guy shouldve been out for 5 games or more longer than crosby was.

That would definitely change things. Suspensions should come with fines. Players don't get paid in the playoffs so a suspension doesn't put them out any money.

Dont forget the equipment is much harder than the old days.

Take a look at what Wayne G. has to say about it which pretty much sums it up

There are some trade rumors goin around that lou may get traded and keep snied. Lou supposed would waive his ntc to go to an eastern team and tampa is reportedly interested in him.. Would love to see shnieder be van's #1 starting goalie next season.
