also got an 04 rev like yours thats been through about everything you have changed.
it now has 13,000km second motor. when we picked it up it at 6000km it was not taken care of. since then..its been beat to chit and maintained well.

- idler wheel bearings
- all suspension bushings
- rear suspension arm
-spindle bushings
- recoil
-engine x 1
- frame x 1
-chaincase
-chain
-front bumper
- front shocks
- replaced all plastics
- rebuilt primary/secondary fully more than once
- replaced carbs
- front suspension bushings
- tie rods
-ball joints

and 320479579873425 aftermarket goodies.

Oh I've also replaced the small rear spring.

What do you need to do to the suspension bushings, tie rods and ball joints? Anything else I should do? I'm putting a white board in my garage and making a list of to do's!

only need to do the front end of its sloppy.. pull your a-arms front to back see if there is movement.

same goes for the ball joints/tie rods. unhook then and look for play.

Sweet. I'm starting a sled to do binder right now so I don't forget

Engine re-build, e module replacement, and any other problems I discover while doing either of those.

it's never just one thing is it. *sigh* what are you rebuilding on the engine? Whole thing? Top end?

check the spindle bushings also. lift the front end in the air and check how much wobble is in the skis. common problem on the rev

another one added to the list!

Engine will be out of the sled, depends on crank run out, but with 4000k on the crank, odds have it I will rebuild from bottom to top.

Time will tell, too dang early to park it yet :d

LOL 4600 for a 2008....does your bum hurt?

Yes it does they didn't even take me for dinner or spit on it before bending me over!!
But I will say they did pay for the 4 year warrenty on the new one after letters and emails to polairs head office.

It was junk form the start in total 7 motors by far the dragon has the worst name out there

at least they got the name right on them cause somebodies always dragon them. lol

chitty luck, then the next one seems to go forever. heard of lots of guys have good luck, but i think more of the bad luck stories on them.
