So..sled is still in pieces but I gotta give a HUGE thanks to Clint and Brett Turner for helping me with my track and suspension. What I love about these guys is they won't just do everything for me, they explain it and I do all the work (with some help for muscle). I'm sure it's frustrating them to watch me fumble about but I really appreciate it. Same goes for any and all the guys that have helped me with any of the projects; Daynon, Rob, Danny, Will, Paul, you guys are all great. :)

I pressed my own drivers last night, put on the new sliders, got the skid bolted in and discovered that the extroverted drivers were hitting the tip of my skid. So I took off the (sorry for lack of technical terms) plastic black nubs on the end of the skid, going to hack on the metal bit that holds them on, put in an anti stab kit and Clint is being kind enough to weld on some new things that hold the limiter straps into place as the stock things slice the ever loving s**t outta the straps.

So here's the list of things my sled has been through since summer...
- rebuilt primary clutch and cleaned
- cleaned secondard
- had oil pump rebuilt
- new engine
- new recoil x 2
- new bumper x 2 <--soon to be x 3...lol
- new limiter straps
- anti stab kit
- "new" used track
- new sliders
- new kill switch
- better boards

What has everyone done to their sleds this season?! Is the list never ending like mine?! :p

Hope everyone has a kick @$$ Friday!!  Hoping to wrench on the sled tonight!

haha what have you done?! I think I need to do a few more things. Obviously I need to take apart the primary again this summer and see if it's ok and clean it out. Might get a new sprocket and chain. Sled wrap, but thats for fun :). Umm...and something else I can't for the life of me remember...Also grease all the nipples.

what have i done....i guess you could say im the maintenance director for my riding group LOL so bringing a box full of parts before head out riding isnt unusual. dealer checked my account and im over 20,000$ in the last 3 years in parts hahahah. not all my sled though thankgod.

on my personal sled i havent had to do a whole lot.

rebuilt both primary/secondary clutches
installed extros
installed camo extreme
ice age rails
tore the front end off and got it coated
changed the outer crank seal and regreased pto bearing.
replaced recoil
regular greasing.
replaced skis..carbides..

other than that i havent really touched it in 5500km

my old zx i had i think i replaced every nut and bolt on that thing twice.

Holy cow! That's a lotta $$!!! Good thing not all for your sled, lol.

Umm...what's an extro?! Everything else sounds pretty minimal. Not bad!

What do you need to rebuild on the secondary? I've never touched my helix yet or done much with the secondary.

extrovert drivers. same ones you installed im assuming.

on the rev secondary hpv27 you need to change.

-slider shoes. 3 red 3 green
-spring
-clean

pretty simple

sometimes the plastic rings that the spring sits on may need to be replaced.

as far as the helix nothing you need to do to that.

Ok that makes sense. I'm not sure what kind or anything on the drivers. I'll find out and let you know.

That is simple, thanks maxwell. I don't think I did the spring or the slider shoes last year. I'll check it out!

Not saying from who but took old pistons and jugs,( nothing wrong) put in newported ones, then take out new and put back in old. did this three times this years. I can do this in 75 minutes. Change both clutch springs and fixed broken shock, Don't ask why as not sure yet but still manged 8 trips
