it all comes down to your convenience, if it is not worth the $10.50 to dump at the lions campground, you need to find another place, the price is the price, it depends on you, as far as tex goes, i can't see him paying to dump his trailer, i was told he dumps it at his place, his shiit is valuable lol.
yes i will go to the dump sites that are free, throw a few dollars into the donation box, it is all about convenience, i'm not going out of my way very far and if a pay $5 or a pay $10 site is more convenient and is usually line up free I'm probably going to use it.

haha, jeff talk about cheep, next time bring your own beer and grub. lol

I drink tea.

Far from cheap.

Used to dump at rocky but found where my sewer line clean out is.

Just dump there. Then I can black flush too.

If I'm coming through Rocky I usually dump there. And IIRC it's by donation.
If coming from north of Sylvan, I dump at the UFA. Both are free. Both were easy and good to use.
Everywhere else I was coming from I was doing it at Lion's, paying $4 and then $5 last year. I get that, in 15 years, the cost of utilities has gone up slightly, but it hasn't gone up over 100% in 6 months. So I don't see the justification for $10.50 and thats what pissed me off. That and the attitude at the gate-and the two quarters I gotta dig through the ashtray to find-gimme a break. I know other places were charging $5-$10, but they all are built stupid, or don't have water or are out of the way so I didn't want to use them.

IMO Lions just did it as a cash grab and nothing else which is something that rubs me the wrong way for some reason. It's not so much the cost, but the reasoning behind it.

And as to whether or not the Lion's get any of the revenue they generate, I have my doubts. I have emailed the chamber of commerce to ask that question. I know what the Lion's do for the community, and I support it and honestly would feel a little better about the whole deal if I know they get a portion of it.

FYI the guy that owns the campground at the westerner bought lions.. He also owns Crags RV storage on hi 11 east.
