Nope, I checked all of them. None make sense.

I hate trying to pick the best of the worst. I do know I don't like what harper has been doing, but who can trust the rest to do any different?
I understand why people feel the way they do about Harper, but stop and think about it for a minute. He's had to run one of the longest minority governments in the history of the country. Canada is poised to come out of the world wide recession in the best shape out of all the G8 countries. How about we give the guy a shot to run this country with a majority parliament? I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but maybe some of those muppets down east will start thinking this way.
Ignatieff is following right along in Trudeau's shoes. NEP 2 on deck if those clowns form government.
What has communism got to do with our election? Even the most socialist of our parties (with members elected) isn't anywhere near communist.
I listen to the CBC in my shop all day everyday. This election is the most pathetic thing we as Canadian have ever done!!!!!
Even the broadcasters are bored. You have dumb and dumber with the french guy, I'm going to vote for the fat chic that got told to shut up!!
Looks like you get your information from the Sun and David Rutherford. But you are voting in Alberta so it doesn't really matter. They won't gain more than one seat here.......Let's be honest there are only two legitamite parties in Canada the Liberals and the Conservatives. The NDP communist scum who punish anyone who tries to get ahead in life and business owners. The bloc should not be allowed to run since they only care about Quebec. So Let's do a breakdown here.
With Conservatives we get:
A leader with experience
An Alberta boy who wont punish the oil industry an cost western Canadians jobs (An Ontario Boy, moved to Alberta)
Someone who will try to lower taxes (Tax sharing plan saves about $60 per year for people earning under $135,0000.00 a year. 71% of the tax savings from this plan go to people earning over $150,000.00 a year)
Someone who will cut unnecessary social programs (please elaborate. are corporate taxes a social program? because thats what Harper is cutting)
Someone with the balls to put money into our military (37 Billion dollars on planes? put the money on the ground where it's needed)
Someone who had a plan to eliminate our deficit in 3 years (The man that created the deficit, Liberals ran deficit free for several years before Harper took over)
With liberals we get:
Higher income taxes(For the wealthiest people)
Possibility of a GST hike(No GST hike)
More wasteful social programs handing out our money(Please elaborate)
More crappy CBC programming(I like CBC , contrary to what Sun media would have you believe, it's good to have a broadcaster that isn't beholding to corporate sponsors)
A leader who moved to the US and called it "his" country.(BLAH BLAH BLAH Get a life. Heaven forbid you go somewhere else to broaden your educational horizons)
Openly criticized Canadians while living in the US. (Please elaborate. although I do know that as a country we are above criticism)
A party that tried to create a coalition to take over goverment.(Exactly like Harper when Paul Martin was PM)
A party that has forced several elections costing huge tax dollars taken away from where they should be spent. (You are just making up chit now,Harper called the last election because polling numbers were up and to prevent his own fixed election date bill from becoming law)
Now you make the choice
My choice? Nestor Pistor for Primeinster!(I really hope someone knows what I'm talking about there)

Don't get me wrong as I don't have any warm and fuzzies over Iggy but Harper is not exactly smelling roses either. He is the same guy that told Bush that he was embarrassed as a Canadian to not join in the war in Iraq. Also, sounds like he too played with the idea of a coalition with NDP/Bloq. Bottom line all these guys are there for their own self fulfilling egos and power trips and will do anything to stay there at the peoples expense. Now time to have a beer after that rant :d
The Conservatives represent my family's best interest. The represent the country's best interest. They are about the people, not the government. They lower taxes. They do away with frivolous spending. They will abolish the Fire Arm Registry for hunters and farmers. They will cut useless programs that waste money. They will encourage companies to set up shop in Canada which leads to jobs. They do not rob Peter to pay Paul. More jobs for Canadians means more income for everyone. They have discipline in their spending. They believe in justice for victims where by criminals are treated as such. They have values that never change. Although their priorities change as situations dictate. My vote goes to the Conservatives. I just hope they finally get a majority now that they have proven to even the east that they kept Canada ahead of the curve even in the most dire times. They should be proud of what they were able to accomplish.
oh and FYI, you cant say a party's best interests is to the people, when said party is to CUT social programs.... thats just a plain old oxymoron

so um the number might be real or cooked. They do however reflect that the Cons had to spend money to keep us on top in the worst recession since the 30's. Yes on top, we weathered the USA downfall better than anyone else in the world, while being the closest to the morons.
Dont get me wrong im still voting for the potheads but Harper did get us through a rough time. JS
The main reason that we weathered the recession is that we had a well regulated banking system, something the Conservatives were against. Government interference in the free market and all
Riffrraffing that post was well said.
What next. Of course the cost of buying a house and buying anything has increased beyond imagination after more than 30 years of Liberal rule. This country is bursting at the seems with taxes to pay for a the social programs that the Liberals and their buddies NDP have created over the years. Oh ya and the Liberal platform for this election is to increase your taxes by another 6 billion bucks AND put a carbon tax on your gasoline. I for one can not imagine why anyone in this country would want to vote that party in.
My Vision of a Democratic Canada and a couple things that need to change to get there:
Thing one: Abolish the Bloc Party. No one province has any business trying to bloc the progress of this Country.
Thing two: Abolish the Upper Chamber. Why do we need appointed Senators to make decisions on policy and law making at huge expense to Canadians? I really don't know why the elected MP's can't do this job.
Thing three: No more minority governments. The party who garners more than 50% of the votes of Canadians should govern for a period of exactly 4 years. The PM nor the other parties do not have the power to call an election any sooner or any later. If the citizens of Canada don't like the way the current government are running the country they can vote a different one in on the next election. This would ensure a working for you government and no more expensive interruptions or un-wanted coalitions.
Cheers.
