I personally like the retro. maybe the original on the front and a newer iteration on the back? my old S&M gear has seen its day and I really do need to replace it.

if you separate the s and the m a bit you could raise the small letter and just put "now" and "ud" up closer to the bigger letters.
but I think that a great logo and idea to have the multiple slogans!!!
