I am reminded of when I grew up near Cochrane that new houses were built and within months there were holes out the side of them so there horses had a place to drink water. Not kidding here it was bad..

So whats the deal with the indian bands getting together in Calgary putting together a proposal to buy the TMPL from the feds. They didnt want the pipeline to go in but now want to buy it???

And they want us to lend (give) them the money to buy it! So if this goes through then we will have paid $9B for a pipeline project that probably will never be built. I can see Trudeau, Morneau and Notley being all on board with this.

I just can't see them being capable of running a pipeline.

I don't feel safe driving through a reserve, let alone living next to pipe of theirs.

We all know how this is gonna go....the feds give the Indians the pipeline as it exists now, and then give them an interest free loan with a no-payback clause for the expansion. Then the Indians hire white contractors to build and operate the lines, but hire the chiefs and all their relatives as executives, then take the profits for themselves. If there’s a leak, it’s the white operators fault.
