Guess we better start culling the population,Some interesting time lapse shots showing changes over a relatively short period of time.
Google Timelapse traces 32 years of construction and destruction
Catching on so well that it shouldn't even be subsidized.......... LolA bit of an aside but an interesting video about solar power.

Ever heard of a carbon tax?Don't think it is.
Don't think it is.
To bad Gore caught on and not that guy.
All green energy schemes are heavily subsidized. It's the only way they're viable. Just ask the people of Ontario. The ones paying 2.5 times what we pay in Alberta for electricity. Not that we'll have an advantage for long once all our coal plants are shut down and the carbon taxes kick in.
I think you will find that Ontario's issues are mostly due to nuclear and bad contract management. My post just mentioned that the cost per kilowatt for solar power was way down and Skegpro mentioned that it shouldn't be subsidized. I could not find any indication that it (solar energy) was subsidized. Solar looks very viable if they can find a way to store it and some interesting progress being made there. I guess we will see how it goes.

I don't really want to rain on your parade too much, but I should mention that when the volcano Mt. Pinatubo erupted in the Philippines in 1991, it spewed out more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere than the entire human race had emitted in all its years on earth.
