Poo is at least $2000 cheaper than a Doo... I believe this is why many are going the way of the Poo again.... I also agree that the Doo is a superior sled, but Poo is very close and still affordable vs Doo.... the newest Poo machines are not blowing up anymore as well... LOL not like mine... I personally like the feel of a Poo vs the Doo, thats why I chose a Poo...

Ok , so the doo with a reported 20 hp more always, in your group, wins. Seen lots of comparisons on lots of different snow, and my experience is different from yours, by a mile. Granted usually stock to stock the Doo beats the Poo, but not always and definetly not by a lot. Not stock, no turbo, no big bore, different story, advantage Poo IMO. And thats great youre not impressed by my question was why is it even close, with 20 hp difference, every person who has experienced the Doo vs Pro clashes should be saying, Doo winner clear and evident. You are obviously dominant and so are all the other Doo s in your group, but sorry man, that aint the norm. I'm not bashing or boasting, sincere question, how can it even be close, and why. I can show you posts from the Nytro zealots also stating no poo or doo or cat ever beat them either, but talks cheap, evidence for 2 years on the snow is .... Pro and XP are fairly close, advantage Doo. But approx 15 % less hp, should be dominant.

And another question, why in a sport where its almost always been HP crazy, and HP the biggest factor in buying, are we now seeing so many guys choosing a lesser powered machine. Not the norm, and it sure as hell hasnt been the great service from Poo. Honest question not fishing.

Maybe I over stated the $2,000.... at least $1,500 is still a large difference to the average "Joe" And I wasnt just thinking the 163, I was thinking an overall comparison between Poo and Doo sleds, Poo is always less money...

Sno cheks were $11,189 here. 2 buddies bought Doo snocheks $1400 more. And yeah i know, some of you guys got yours for $4158 cause you know someone. The real difference seems to be about $1500 approx difference. Not sure what a Pro would cost off the floor, the shops here aint having much trouble getting them out the door, so cant imagine theyre discounting them. I wouldnt.

That may have been true in the past, but last spring when I was shopping I got the same price within $200 for a 2013 Pro 155 and a 2013 XM 154. Considering the 154 XM is equivalent to a 163 Pro, if anything the Doo was cheaper.

*all prices with 3 year warranty

Nice rationalizing, whatever makes ya feel good I guess. Hey , I know why don't you weigh em, then u can tell us all you got an extra 40 or 50 lbs more for only an extra $1500 bucks or so. But nope, sorry that won't work either. The Poo guy paid about $28 a lb you actually paid about $33 a lb. (note sarcasm).

Money dont mean nothing by the time you add everything else up I have seen lots of junior riders ride the new pros and look good I think the sled is easier to ride and when you do some upgrades it I mean the poo just responds better and at the end of the day when they are broke down(poos doos or what ever)they are all junk, I think i payed enough money that they should all run good for the money I pay for all that plastic

Signs of ranting: failure to respond to anything that was written, anger at a perceived slight that doesn't exist.
I posted a fact and you go off on me about weights and making poor decisions, neither of which are related to what I wrote.

I'd have to disagree... why would the doo be dominant based on numbers? look at the hp:weight ratio the difference is negligible (like 1-2%) b/c the added weight of the doo cancels out the HP advantage. The rider, the rider's weight, sled set up, and traction will drive the difference in performance. So stock to stock they should be pretty close which they are. In my experience the 3 800's are all pretty close.

exactly. only thing giving the doo the edge is the extra traction. not the hp

Sorry don't agree, we've changed out a few pro s to a 2.5 Camo extreme track which I believe is at least equal to the Doo track (I dont like the poo track) and the circumstances while competing didn't change a lot in deep snow. On harder snow the CE is way better. Good points made by ryan1, so imagine how cool it would be if the poo gained 10 or so hp. And you wouldn't have to put up with the goofy Doo steering angle.
