A bud sent me an email in the hopes that the S&M'ers can give him some advice on the following issue, other then the obvious dealers anyone a have any suggestions?
Hi Todd,
So here is the scoop. I hit a water CC at 25-30 MPH and stopped dead.
At first glance the right A arm was bent. I purchased a new A arm, put it in and things where still misaligned.
So I took things apart and under closer inspection I noticed that the front suspension support was bent.
Purchased that part put it in...and things still where misaligned.
Closer inspection reveals that the right ski was still pushed back and the left ski was still pushed forward.
This is noticeable looking at the position of the shocks passing through the top A arms. At the time one can tell that the RH ski leg is bent too.
I then tore the machine apart further and to the best of my knowledge the S module and the E module are bent.
Upon removing the front member the bracket on top is also bent.
The good news is I didn't hurt myself
Ask around in your circle and let me know if anyone has the expertise to help. This problem has become a little out of my scope.
Thanks
Todd M
Thanks!!!
