H&S Mini Max Troubles

First time I’ve seen this but maybe one of you can help?

My 2012 Ram has had this H&S tuner on it since new, I bought the truck in 2013 and cleared it and re loaded a Anarchy tune and has been fine up until last week. It will be all good then it dumps all the warning light on and they will stay on randomly on off on? I’m assuming it’s the tuner?

Turn the truck off, it will be fine for a minute maybe 5,10 ,60 there is no one thing.

Could this be a cable issue?
Or should I try and figure out how to clear and reload the tune?
Can you still do that? If so I don’t remember how!

I tried a new HDMI cable it didn’t help, I ordered a obd2 adaptor as a last resort.

If the mini is toast, what are guys doing?
I don’t know how I can reload back to stock if my mini is toast?
Will a efi live overwrite this custom tune? I had a Anarchy tranny tune with 4 tune levels installed.

It’s seams to work fine when it’s fIrst out of the garage and warm. But when truck sits in cold for couple hours it fails communication.

Long shot and may go terribly wrong but can you copy/replace sd card?

I have the custom tune on a flash drive so yes I have a copy of that and can put it on a new SD. But isn’t the factory stock tune on the original SD card? Or is it on the mini maxi ?

I’m not sure if it’s possible anymore since H&S went belly up a while ago, but is your firmware up to date? When I had my 2012 Cummins, my minimaxx was doing strange things for a while as well (freezing) and with a firmware update it cured it. I also had an issue where the truck would randomly not start. Lights on but nobody home. If I disconnected the batteries for 5-10 mins and reconnected them it would act like nothing ever happened. Only did it to me 4 or 5 times but I ended up keeping an 8mm wrench in the truck for that very reason.

It’s been a long time since I’ve played with the mini max download process, I think I found my old instructions from Anarchy custom tune so I’m hoping I can get tuner to work long enough to revert back to stock. Then clear the mini and reload... maybe! Otherwise S&M in Red Deer want $1000 for efi live!
Fricken trucks! Oh well cheaper than a new one I guess

EFI will write over anything that's in the truck now. No Limit in GP has a good bit of experience with the H&S and may have some ideas for ya

Put a new obd2 adaptor on and so far so good but truck was in heated garage and I drove around for 2 hours on old adaptor with no problems. I think it’s cold related but will see tomorrow as truck will sit outside for 13hrs.

Although H&S are no longer in business I believe you can still find support. If you need more help I would call NADP in Edmonton. They might steer you in the right direction.

I went a whole day in the cold with new obd2 adaptor I bought which is a Bully dog part now and I had zero troubles today. So hopefully that was it... funny pretty much every place I called gave me the throw it in the trash! Efi live is sooo much better! Oh and that will be $1500!

Ive had my H&S XRT pro installed for about 6 years on my deleted 12 Cummins. Not a problem and runs great. To bad they went out of business. I believe you can still get different tunes for them if you want. I leave mine on tow mode and it gets good fuel mileage. 11 - 12 l/100km on the highway.
