You know what really shocked us... was the load on the hills and the size of the avy that came down most likely friday night and the first group we saw in there went straight up a loaded slope... i guess the "no tracks from us " meant nothing to them and to top that off they had music blaring away while they rode... guess thats what the cool kids do now. lol

Rode quartz yesterday... very tracked. Crazy bastereds where doing huge climbs we were scared for, we left the area as we didn’t want to see or be apart of a triggered avalanche.

Today we were in silent but I think my truck needs a set of balljoints now! Stagged at the 21km mark and Excellent trail to the 46km staging area. From there up didnt look like it was groomed in a long long time, Extremely rough. On the way down a small slide has part of the trail covered, can still get by though. Snow was amazing! Blue sunny day and Very deep and untracked in the back! Stayed away from High slopes, seen 2 big slides! Clocked on 140km, made it back with just enough fuel. Wish we could make it back again tomorrow if it was to be groomed!

Don't think them culvert crossings will ever hold up. Only gets worse in the spring when I head in there to chatter. They'd have to do some expensive road work to make it decent. But still all worth it in my books. Just drive accordingly

There is usually adequate room to turn anything around. Unless a group of inconsiderats get there ahead of you and decide to park like they own the place.

Was there Friday and there was room but the earlier you get there the better and ya sometimes the is a couple of people that think the middle of the road is the best spot to park. But year after year that's the normal stupidity

there is a road that branches off at 21 that I used to turn around 2 weekends ago. so yes you can. you could also turn around at km17. Heading back there on Thursday.

We took our four place up there last week. It was snug with ten trucks there but wasn't to bad.

Was at Silent today. Probably 40 riders in total. Road is plowed and lightly sanded to about 20 km. Trail was freshly groomed but just starting to get a little bumpy on the way out. Visibility was decent but couldn't get over to the back side. It'll be awesome back there if the sun pops out. Lots of snow left to ride.
Ps. Accidentally dropped my Spot on the trail near the top of the waterfall. Hopefully someone picked it up.
