I hope it was. Unless people start getting hit with big fines, and then tell everyone so they start paying attention, the result will be shutting the areas down so there is no way for people to ‘wander’ where they aren’t supposed to be.

Heard there was 2 sleds that spent the night up at Gorman. Chopper left this morning for a recovery. Climbed something they couldn’t get out, not sure on details, hopefully all is well there!

Any update on the two sledders

They did did not spend the night as far as I know. They climbed something which they couldn’t get out or down.

its pretty easy for this to happen in Gorman given there are tracks from mild to wild laid everywhere. It don’t take much to drop something which you don’t have the skill to get out.

Gorman was good snow in places hard to see flat light but we made the most of it -13 in the truck and was only cold on the trail. Headed up to silent pass tomorrow will update

Rode Silent for my first time Dec. 30th with a couple of guys from the forum here (HUGE thank you to Barry & Curtis). Blue skies most of the day, deep fresh powder everywhere we went and great company to ride with. I only get 6-7 days in the mountains each year and have less than 40 under my belt total but easily one of the best days of riding I've had in my life. Sorry for the sideways pic, I have no idea how to post it properly.

Looks good guys thanks for the update. Suck's about the groomer. Nothing works well when it's 30 below like last week
