Parker come in to the Finning Sparwood branch years ago when I was working. Great to talk with him. He was looking at the dozer's but the cost to transport was too much.

lol...pay a million plus for a dozer and balk at the $20K to haul it to the Yukon.

Fire extinguisher is a last resort.
The chemical inside does a hell of a number to the electrical and wiring after you use it.

Corrosion develops over time after you use it and it will be an electrical nightmare.

Better take the unit to auction after while it still runs.

Meh we have operators set off the onboard fire suppression systems on our equipment by accident and deliberately all the time with no ill effects. Other than the gross mess it makes afterwards lol.

i cant help watching this show and shake my head. When sheamus rented out the dozer for $10,000 a day to rick and then hauled the excavator 40 miles for $5000 i laughed my ass off. Totally took advantage of him. That dozer at full rate operator and fuel in is $632.00 per hour. I can rent that dozer for $55,000 a month based on 200 hours which works out to $275/hr +35 for operator+ $150/ hour for fuel.

Rick got raped...lol and if he is going to be stupid like this he will not make any money.

Parker is an idiot for not planning on the water. I think Tony beets is doing him a favor by not making it easy. lessons in reality are not cheap, but parker will be better for it.

I dunno. The 475 is an expensive piece of $hit to keep running. He was probably figuring in the maintenance and repair costs into the overall price. They are definitely harder on fuel than a D11, but they will push more.
