Love the show. Been watching it since the beginning. A lot of it is staged, but I guess you gotta make it like that for good tv.
I started in the 2nd year and watch it weekly as well

I'm also a sucker for the towing show and Alaskan wtf people lol

They don’t talk to much about them finding significant nuggets but I will tell you all those rigs have huge nugget traps. And they do cash in. Lots of unseen stuff. Expenses like a dozer for $10k a day aren’t as bad as you think. I mean he’s possibly opening up a atm machine by removing the overburden.

Where would the drama be by doing that, way better to run to the creek with a pail, lmao

I actually had to rewind it to make sure I was seeing a fire extinguisher right in front of him. Weak editing on that one

I've pretty much watched it from the beginning as well, better then most reality shows. I meet Fred and his son at RB's about the 2nd or 3rd year of the show. We walk together looking at equipment in the yard for about an hour talking about different things. I liked him and wish they were still on the show or made more of the new one they were trying in the creek.

Parker must have a hard time seeing fire extinguishers on his dozer....

Fire extinguisher is a last resort.
The chemical inside does a hell of a number to the electrical and wiring after you use it.

Corrosion develops over time after you use it and it will be an electrical nightmare.

Better take the unit to auction after while it still runs.

And the pails of water are ok?

Met this fella in 2014 outside the grocery store in Haines Alaska. Still driving his old GM half ton. He was exactly as he was on tv. Recognized his voice before I saw him haha.

Had a sub contractor few years ago grubbing in the winter, all the 8s had coal shovels strapped to the outside of the cabs, was told it was for when the fire extinguishers ran out. Main client was pretty impressed.

I just watched the new season and I was disappointed. Parker needs to grow up and get away from Tony.

He did, he bought his own claim that's why Tony is being such a dick. Parker is deep in Tony's kitchen with that 6000oz season he had last year. Looks like Tony's pride and ego took a huge hit. Parker still needs a good lickin for how he talks to his guys, he needs to grow up.

Hoping Rick does well, if he can get Shamus's manhood out of his arse. Man is he raping Rick HARD.

Also miss Todd's constant screwup's, that dummy couldn't find gold in Ft.Knox.

As for Highway Through Hell that show is PAINFULLY boring. One episode was enough for me

i wish Dakota Fred and his son would come back

They have (or had) their own show. Gold Rush White Water, they were suction dredging a river in the Yukon and failed miserably just like they did on dry land. Freddy's boy Dustin sure has a fat head on him and could be a downright prick at times, especially at the mention or sight of Hoffman

They had to borrow all the startup capital from Todd Hoffman. Bizarre since he is broke as a joke, maybe his singing career will be better to him than his gold mining career was. Still entertaining shows both of them.

Great drama on that show, Parker an entitled millennial vs Tony shrud old business man, it’s funny to watch Parker getting his entitlement clipped when it comes to business.

that's awesome! I loved that old guy, he was the best thing on the show.

a few friends and I rode up to Dawson City back in 2016 and met a bunch of the gold rush guys in Diamond Tooth Gertie's. I only got a pic with Rick Ness, he came out for a smoke while my buddy and I were outside. BS'd with him for about an hour
