Hey Overkill19, what part of town is this in? Would love to do a drive by to and not sure where Sproules is. Garage looks sweet by the way. Wish I had a yard large enough to do something like that. Can hardly do anything in my yard, the new lots are so small unless you want to spend like 250k for a lot.

Drove by on Sunday and love the location you have and of course the garage is sweet. My wife used to live in Mountview and loves that area of town and I can see why.

We looked at building a new house, but the new areas just dont do it for us, plus at the $425 for a lot close to ours I can bull doze mine any day of the week and still be way ahead.

We love the location, close and easy to get just about anywere. I find so many of the new areas have one way in and one way out! As you can see I dont think we will be moving any time soon!

I would think 10 foot walls would due, as a 32 foot span your peak is going to be higher. My parking side with the dormer has 9'6' walls and 12'5" to the inside peak. I'm sure it would fit and mine is only 24 span. Also depends on what kind of lift you are using, a 2 post 15000# is going to eat up some attic space. A 4 post for storage and general maintanace does not need that much head room. I have planned on a 2 post thats why my shop side has 14 walls, I'm 15'8"' to the inside peak on a 20' span

Don't do it Colin. If you have permits for 12' walls, then go with 12' walls. I had permits 14', but I cut it down to 12'...huge mistake. The taller the better. I have a bit of a mezanine on the back wall where I put the girls sleds and quads, barely possible with 12', let alone 10'. Just like building a motor...no replacement for displacement.

Ya by all means, if you can get away with 12's do it ! I live in town and my lay out did'nt sit well with 12 or 14's all the way around. If I had went 14's for it all, I think the shop would look to UFA-ish "big flat wall box" IMO. Now if I was out of town she'ed be a box....big box!

What flavor of 2 post?
For me 2 post works better, easier pulling tires tranny etc. 4 post you can do all that just more cumbersome IMO. But if car storage is your goal , I see were your going. Or are you keeping the 2 and adding a 4? best of both worlds !

Ive never seen a "carlift.ca" brand in person. My brother has a Rotary lift, I'm very impressed with the way its made and fit/finish. I figure if I'm along under a 7000# truck, no need to cheap out!
4 post is way safer though!
