How are these front open deck bumper pull campers for pulling ?? Do they pull good loaded with weight on the front deck or with the deck empty ??
Or do they pull good BOTH loaded and empty ?? I am very seriously considering buying one so i can arrive at camp all in one trip and one auto..
Any info you guys have..

Our kids had one. They liked it. The brand they had was a bit hitch weight heavy.

The camper park was great.

It was a Palimino Banchee.

Something like that. He never used a weight distribution hitch with it.

Keep in mind they are tight for a SxS if you plan on staying within the legal limits of 8.5', if between 8.5-9.5' I believe you can buy an wide load permit.
I thought of it for my wildcat trail but that thing is almost 10' long and all the front deck trailers aren't long enough, would have to load sideways.

You can't "make" a wide load and get a permit for it.

Not sure if these trailers are designed for the weight up front either . If so ( two quads) you would be fine . If for one quad, the SXS would be pretty hitch heavy @ 1500lbs +.

You can also buy a regular toy hauler that is a bumper pull with a separate garage. I looked at some but we decided the 5th was a better option. Ron wants to sell his trailer which is what you're describing but he says he can't haul his sxs on it. I suggest talking to him as well

They make a "hitch toad" extra set of axles at hitch but that's $5000 or so,even 2 Grizzlys dry are 1200 lbs and they lighter quad status

What are you pulling it with? Put 1500lbs on atv's on it and you will likely overload the average half ton.

I've owned two of thes units, both wolfpacks, both great units for two quads and some kids dirt bikes or toys but do not and I repeat, DO NOT put a sxs on the deck of one of these units, I tried and it was so sketchy I wouldn't even leave the farm with it up there, the problem is the mass is more localized to one are and is much higher off the deck than with a quad, the amount of frame twist just idling around the yard was scary. Our first one was the original with the 18' camper, it pulled great loaded or not, had lots of clearance, fueling station, all the good chit I guy needs for campin and quadding in the West Country, however the camper portion was very small and after we had the second little one it just didn't work. Our next one was the 21' with the rear king slide, much nicer camper but the clearance wasn't nearly as good, it hauled good loaded but being so much longer and heavier at the back it was real ****ty empty. With the kids gettin bigger we finally went to a decent little 5th wheel camper and tag a flat deck with all the bikes. Good luck with your shopping.

They make and sell new trucks everyday. Really depends on what a person needs. Everyone needs to sit down and figure it out before shelling out a bunch of cash. Look at all options as well.

It 's a Toyota Tundra........not a baby Tacoma. But yes likely a little too small for that application.

Thanks all for the input, i have decided to stay doing 2 autos or 2 trips each way, for now and take time to think about other options.
Most of those options would involve a larger truck, so i will have to think about that.
