Went out to check the snow yesterday. Still pretty thin but better than a day at work.
Nice. What/where did you use for access? Were you able to get to a snow line with the truck(s)?
Was up coal creek way on friday and parked the truck in the snow. They are logging, bring a radio.
Saturday we went up morrisey way. Parked in the snow at the bridge a few km up from the quarry.
Your dance did not work well..
Has anyone dropped left of the notch yet?
There are some sled eating rocks over there this time of year.
Noted! Was coming up with a group of guys who have never rode Fernie Dec.11th to the 15th. I think we are going to Re-Route to Revy or Valemount. Forecast does not look promising.
I’m heading this way for 28th thru New Years would love to bring my sled with me but the guys I’m going with Dont ride would anyone be willing to let me tag along?
AST 1 certified and just don’t feel comfortable riding alone
Harvey pass yesterday was snowing and hard to see, but lots of snow in the bowl, there are rocks, but easy to see them.. tree riding was awesome, and in some places Hero deep snow.... obviously with the 20-40 cm coming tomorrow the riding will be awesome...
ps there is no cabin at Harvey, seems the forest fires burnt it down..
