Let's blame it on mother nature! She is being mean this winter! Playing tricks on us!
went to the crowsnest for rally never unloaded the sleds rally cancelled do to 2 days of rain. first time in 25 years of going sledding in the pass that i didn't unload my sleds, the parking lot was mud. we have more snow in my backyard then they have on there trails what a sad year
Silent pass from Fernie is 323km, little more than a few hours. You got any pictures of your trip?Felt bad as I ran threw fernie poring rain.. Just not there year for snow, but if you drive a few hrs more snow is stupid deep at silent pass, pouring rain down low but above 7000 feet it's real deep
Yep, everyone's sitting at home when there's pow to smash!

Glad you guys were able to find some pow.
Well, went for a little ride sunday. Drove through Fernie while it was raining. Got to the staging are, and it was a slight drizel.
The trail up was interesting, between the bare rock and glare ice. At 5000', it started to snow, with signs of 4" to 6" of fresh over night. As was mentioned, about 6000', game on!
I don't normally take pictures, but on this day I simply could not resist. It is very apparent that people's opinion on 'suck' is very different then mine.

It's been two years now and you still haven't taken out the tree magnet??? There is fun to be had in those trees where only the adventuresome venture......
Looks amazing! Wish I would have gone to fernie instead. Got talked into Revy, had a minor rollover onto a block of ice, $1,200 later still fixing the sled. this time I swear I'm not going back, never had any luck in revy!
