We have it up north at Turtleford today, then back to Lloyd area for a couple of days. Webb's are getting on Saturday I think. In the wheat the most we could find was 3 kernel's...so basically 0 losses. Drop pan after drop pan we couldn't find much. I haven't been out with it in canola yet.
I’m pretty interested to see it work, too bad the crops suck so a guy won’t really see it’s potential

Saw a pile of dust south of me 2 miles yesterday so went for a snoop. Mialta Hutterite colony was combining a half section of hailed wheat. They had 6 John Deere S780’s cutting, 2 9R620’s 4 tracs on big grain carts, another 9R620 on a vertical tillage unit for fire and 2 super Bees in the field. One leaving and one sitting there. I did a rough estimate of well over $10,000,000 in iron in the field. Incredible.

Talked to a finance guy that seemed to know alot about the Huts the other day! Said a lot of colony's are leveraged alot harder than most people think, just amortized over a lot longer time frame, they think more in terms of generations than single working lives like a lot of farmers do!

Yeah they are no better farmers than the rest of us. Must be big bucks in cukes and carrots at these farmers markets? 🤷

Southern Beet guys! Is it possible to buy bulk beet pulp down in your country? Looking for 6-7 tons and would prefer not to buy it by the 50lb bag!

Talk to someone from the Regina area. That’s all they grow down there. Lentils with a smattering of canola. Lentils are alright to grow. If your tolerance for weedy fields isn’t high don’t grow them. Plan on a pre harvest as well. Kill the weeds and kill the lentils. They will start growing again if you get a bunch of rain at harvest.

Rode in one last week when it was at Webb's at Vermilion, it's a monster! Header is too big for this country! Seemed strange comming home to a 50' Mac and it looked small!
All a guy needs is $1.7 mill and you too could park it in you shed for 11.5 months of the year

Dairy pork chicken & manufacturing. All labour free ( they house, feed, cloth them- but use every service available) farm tax rate for commercial enterprises
pretty hard not to make more money than competition in ag or commercial
