Laying poison this early is a first for us, but breaking new land and kids on school break gives a opportunity before seeding starts next week..
Grassland, rock piles, seem to be the haven they live for, hopefully get it under control quick

I find the earlier the better. Once grass starts greening up they would rather eat it than grain.

Found a gsg 16.
Hitting a 6x6 gong at 100 yards just about every shot yesterday. Put a red dot on it to try. Might just leave it there for awhile. Was real happy with it

I have a Savage .17WSM, supper accurate and really does a good job at distributing small gopher chunks.
Wicked for a rimfire.

Been watching auctions..covid pricing on farm equipment as well.
Been watching since nov and bidding since nov on tractors for the acreage. Still no luck but I'm not paying an asinine amout. Would prefer green again but almost bought a clapped out red today. But honestly needed more work and was more hp than I need.
