Some of the big guys have started seeding but the soil thermometer tells me I should wait.
Big guys have to many acres so have to start early. Later crops will catch up and less risk of freezing the crop.

Well seed 21 in the ground for most part, looking like the fall rye never survived the winter very well, plan to reseed this week and maybe play the feed grain market since it’s very strong..

Peas and lentils off to a much slower start with cold temps overall, but coming along, gives some time to do burn off thou..

Follow a few India brokers and they been saying it’s the year of pulse crops, let’s hope they correct .. majority ac into it

Canola now at 16$, wheat over 9, and lentils over 20.. it’s maybe a good time to farm once again.. need moisture thou soon

Rained about 8mm the last 2 days. Haven't seeded a single acre yet, hope to start soon.

Your in that fake rain ground, wish we could even get your 8mm.. would help us so much more

Remember going to a school in Leftbridge research many years back and Ross mackenzie stating that there findings after may 1st was 1.5 bu yield loss per day.. can’t remember what crops it was but on irrigation dirt

Takes a 6mm to make a puddle in yard and none to be seen
Crazy how we're only about an hour apart and there still is free standing puddles on the pavement and in my yard.

As soon as the sun starts making heat again, my grass will be shooting up. As it's already a nice shade of green
