Thanks, I was reading that last night as well, but I'll be damned if I could figure out a ratio from the fl/oz to acres. :)

Edit: Mixture Ratio 10:1. Just called Sturgeon Valley Fertilizer, took a couple of minutes to get him to go from the litres per acre to just the water to Curtail ratio. :)

Hi Woody. If it helps I use Curtail quite a bit. I spray with 5 gal nozzles and have a 800 gal tank. At the .81 rate which is the higher rate for tough to kill weeds like dandelion and Canada thistle I use 16 jugs. I can spray 160 acres per tank. A case does 20 acres or 10 acres per jug at the high rate. If I remember right at the .6 liter rate you can do 26 acres per case? Thats as simple as I can explain it. Good luck!:d:beer:

Talked to a couple dealers, and their both bringing a vac to demo. Weren't planning on buying one this year, but we need one now I guess.

I haven't heard of anyone around here this year with bugs. With last years cool weather at harvest and all the grain going off dry hasn't been a problem. How much you gotta move?

Ya no kidding. Oh well it won't be to bad. Dad said I gotta just keep the super b's going, and him and the hired hand will fill the other trucks and load me back up with the 13". Start the weekend on Thursday evening getting a truck ready for the parade.

It won't take that long with 3 guys going hard. Have you talked to your elevator rep lately about your grades from last year. My PSR was telling me that the graders out at the coast have gotten alot tougher on grading as of late. He said they had 2 ships rejected and had to unload them costing huge coin. He heard Pioneer had 200 cars rejected and Viterra over a 100. He was calling customers when I went to do my permit book telling them they were going to have to re-evaluate borderline grades as they would probably be rejected at the coast. He was not enjoying his job!

rice has been tried here in MB last yr on farm land. lol not good, only grows in the swamps.

GRASS, timothy, perennial ryegrass, bromes, even having legumes in your rotation will greatly improve soil structor and drainage. alfalfa ground has been some of dryer fields in the interlake, maybe put in a field of hay?

Another 1.5 inches lastnight. No farming today, off to play in the mud.
