We could use some of that heat around here,. Wheat crops here are average with most stands begining to headout. Canola is staged anywhere from cotyledon to bolt and flower, consistently the worst stand I have ever seen.

Most of our canola is at about 10% bloom, and the wheat is at 5 leaf stage. I've never seen canola so tall so early as what we have this year. Maybe its the variety we have now.

around here corn is waist to ribs high with a decent stand and the beans are anywhere from V2 to R1 stage. of course the crop is a little thin and shorter where we dont have enough tile but over all we are the garden spot. Go about 30 miles in any direction and water is standing and crop wasnt planted till late or never and when it was put in the ground it was too muddy.

Good to here I don't have the worst canola fields in the country. I have three quarters on pea stubble, they are far the best. Guess what, I had to lightly disc the stubble because I could not put it threw the drill.

The neighbors that still make two passes have good looking stands!

Zero till, go figure!

Bingo!! I thought I was going nuts. My best crops are the ones that I preworked last fall as they were so wet and I wanted to make sure that I could get on the land this spring.:d:beer::beer:

Spraying Broadband.MCPA 600, Tilt and Lorsban, a little concoction I like to call the"cancer cocktail". It gives me a headache just walking by the sprayer.
