Anyone else deeply concerned about how CN is going to move this crop to market.
they had such a dismal service record now, and they are chasing oil business.. Grain will be left to rot on the parries

that was a good watch, many farmers have no faith in Suzuki and his anti GM stance.
he was quoting from 1990's and even futher back,
he obviously hadn't read any current info on the subject.

Finished our fields today, yields were very good. Not to many issues lost the rear axle on the combine but we rigged er up haha. I'll see if I can post a pic later.

we're up on a high set of hills tonight, good breeze blowing, tearing apart a monster canola crop. That's grain farming boys!

Anybody seen any issues with grain heating already? Have left all my bin tops open in non aeration bins and found 2 heating today. Been in storage less than a month. Wheat went in at over 30 degrees but the moisture was in the 11.8-11.9 range? Bugs will be next.....

Why don't you try unloading it into your truck then dumping it back in the bin. Moving it around should cool it down lots.

Finished harvest about a month ago. Planted 2 quarters of winter wheat (1 wet, 1 dry) for the first time in years. Yields were quite good this year with canola being the worst and HRSW being the best. Gonna have to try and do lots of sledding and think about selling grain in the spring.
