Sorry to jump in here with this again! Mentioned previously that I had a rim leaking on the back tire of my tractor. 16.9 -34 . Thinking about putting a tube in this tire. Thought it might solve my rim leak issue, as well as keep the CaCl away from the rim. Any thoughts??? Anyone have a couple of this size tire they want to get rid of? Mine are in pretty tough shape!

We don't have any that size, but try your local tire shop. Tubes are cheap. Compared to tires anyways.

I am at the farmshow in Regina, what a big show. Was onsite from 9 to 6 and have not touched the surface.

Not good at camera pictures but here is the new Bourgault air cart; actually it is over 1000 bu.

Please send money....

And they're never going to stop making them bigger. One question. What's the tank on the side for? Canola?

Thats fine and dandy for dry and flat ground. I'm thinking its a tow between? What kind of frame reinforcement and hitch do you need on the drill for a tow behind. I heard guys are starting to crack out frames on drills with the 6550 already.

YES rain!!! bluesky AB 1" biggest 1 shot rain fall in 7 years! Glad to hear Scott you got a shot too!

Just PLEASE keep it out west.

here are some pics of what some of the areas in MB look like

Pic 1) East of Ashern MB, lake MB, which has moved 4 miles inland from shore line . It is expected to rise atleast another 2 feet by aug 1

Pic 2) hay field/pasture

pic 3) right hand side of fence line is/was an alfalfa seed field

pic 4) west side of Fairford bridge, the only way (above ground) water goes from LAke MB to Lake WPG.

pic 5) looking at bridge of same river east side, not much room considering the lake will rise another 2'

Pic 6,7,8) this was the view all the way up hiway #6 for over 200 kms, water all both side of road, fields flooded, not seeded, or seeded with heavy water damage (pic 7)

travelling lots looking at our contracted crops, grass fields look awesome and so do some of the legumes. Will keep you updated with what i see. Producers here in MB have pre sold very little, some nothing, and some who did are now buying back contracts. It should be an interesting year.

Our flood fight here is only going to get worse and all rivers, streams, lakes, are full and more to come. It is gonna be a mess and worst is yet to come, we are expecting this mess rite thru the summer/fall and then freeze up. Then the destruction from the ice during thaw will to the finishing touches on any cottages or homes near the lakes

Nice tank eh. theres a farmer in sask that pulls two of them tanks behind his drill he doesnt like to get out of his tractor to fill up. I believe his has a 530 hp case chip to 600+. You get a chance to look at bourgault new 3220 line of paralinks?

Yup, I believe it is 100 bu. canola tank. Another point of interest, they don't have a price for the tank.

I researched all drills and there are many. I like bourgault but I must admit their pricing is scaring me away; they are the highest price drill out of them all. Watch JD, they are bringing some new drills out; rumor has it they will be putting the conservapac seeding structure on a JD frame. Jd frame is built better and they can extend the width. Only problem that I can see is field roughness.

The worst contour drill on the market has to be morris. Sorry morris fans but there is just no weight to this drill. They are hanging suit case weights of the back to increase the weight.

I heard yellow grass had 6 inches of rain on Friday. On another note if you put a bourgault beside a seed master or hawk the bourgault will do a better job at higher speeds and go through more trash. In my experience anyways.

God I love to watch the rain fall on my garden

Holy crap, talk about rain in good old rain. Had to leave the campsite in Regina and head for the wallmart parking lot. Just poured in Regina. Left Regina and stayed in Swiftcurrent Wallmart and just poured. Weyburn declared a state of emergency.

Got home and we have had 1.5 inches today alone.

Not sounding like a farmer but need some heat for these crops been away almost a week and they have not progressed to far.

I used to be all into the farmer talk being as I worked for an Agco dealer for 15yrs, Challenger, Hesston, Morris, Kubota.

I don't miss it one bit,..

Some of the early Canola crops up here were hit with a little frost beginning of the month and stunted them pretty good, crops planted 2weeks after are already 4in tall with all the rain we've had.

Barley is also going strong

Your right Yellow grass was also under a state of emergency.

I am a big fan of bourgault but will be researching Horshe anderson and and Amity. They claim to seed canola at 8 to 9 miles an hour. I have a coleny who owns one and another producer close to the colony who owns the other. Will be doing some research.
