Looks like our Alberta power grid is running at max capacity over the last 4 days...
Ama has advised motorist it could be 5 too 8 hours in our area if road side assistance is required,,, emergency call-outs are priority 1 on their list...
Our little town is in shut-down mode,,, guess ill head out too the farm and check cattle and visit with the horses...
Our friend Zagg isn't a happy camper...
Old teddy is pretty happy,,, its days like this when he's in his norm...
Hes kinda camera shy...
Awwwww yes,,, the good old days of be'ing out there and making fun of what we can ...

Of course ill add some photos of a bike ride later tonight too keep the thread real,,, I bet it turns into an analog ride when the battery freezes solid... lol

you need to wrap old teedy around you a warm fur coat! we have something similar here, Niki the big black Bouvier likes sitting out looking at whats going on, needs to be coaxed into the house? guess i'm kinda boring!

7.34 mile analog ride on slab and grid trails...
Just trying out some new heated gloves,,, lowest setting is more then enough,,, i should of had them years ago
Kind a pricey but well worth it...
I'll chime in on them after a few rides...
e-assist run tomorrow,,, got a few tricks too make it happen...

Yesterday's ride became a gound hike with e-assist heated glove,,, legs and feet in analog mode... lol
R and I have a game plan if the purp returns on this thread or others...
Its nice having game plan too deal with clowns threw the proper channels...
Lets rock this 2024 year ahead...

Looks like we're going too get a break in the weather finally,,, our friends down south in the lower 48 are putting on the miles,,, they weren't too keen too this photo i posted... lol vvv
Their definitely not interested in joining in on any of our winter ride's,,, its not that bad if a person has the time too suit up...
Purhaps we climatize too the conditions We have,,,, just like snow-boarding,,, sledding any other winter sports...
Pretty sure it's a Eastern Slopes run just above the foot-hills plateau weekend ,,, pilot the comand-center too a few staging areas and scout out a few game trails...
A over night camping trip with bon-fire at night...

Thanks again gang,,, hopefully our 2024 year is off too a great start going forward...
I'll add a winter ta-doo list thats been working for me for 38 ish years of living the ruff... lol

New game plan 2024 is in the works for my old standard crank bike from days gone by...
I'm planning on low river bottom mtb trails with Woops & What-Nots too carve off some trails and fishing ,,, of course there will be days when i can turn up my VO-2 Max...
Kinda like this stuff that I've done threw out parts of the interior of B.C. back in the 2000's...
Ok,,, more slow """low bottom""" stuff threw the trees,,, Radium area West and Golden BC since its close too home...
Low grade terrain with some challenges along the way,,, even if i have too put the boots on the ground...
Cover a few miles ,,, stuff the bike into the forest and head in deeper on foot """if""" that be the case...
Get in on the tributarie that feed into the main rivers,,, park the @zz and throw a few hooks...
Part time given'er,,, alot of time relaxing,,, rain gear and tarp too fashion into the trees too limit the soaking... lol...
Camp out at the comand center at night
Travel lite and fast as normal,,, hopefully more of the easy stuff with out going over and above the call of duty...
Ive been known too over doo it once in awhile,,, I'm ok with that...

Boss said it looked like I'm running low on Vitamin Sun Shine after the last Cold snap...
He sent me home with pay too get my Mo-jo going... lol
That and I wouldn't be at work wrecking $4!+...
Mid afternoon +8 in the Sunny sections,,, 80% moderate pace analog,,, 20 ish % e-assist...
Dang,,, I must be running low on the Sun Shine Vitamin...lol...
Looks like a Edmonton Fat tire ride this weekend,,, catch the motorcycle show,,, hit up the River Valley trails...
Maybe ill run across a few S&M and ADS folks...
Something too do too break up the last parts of our Winter months,,, just closing in on my 400 mile mark this month...
Great Weekend too yha all coming up,,, temps look good across the Province...

I took in the Edmonton bike show then River Valley trails on the East side
27 miles/ 47 k,,, no shortage of slick spots along the river banks,,, +8 ,,, felt like +14,,, t-shirt weather fore-sure...
Full length ride next time...
6 hours,,, 5 Cofffeee Vokacheeno breaks,,, 90 ish % analog,,, used 3 power bars,,, lots high speed runs in some sections...
2 taboogan slides,,, 5 dusters due too excessive speeds...

Most likely a pedal bike brand off my long time friend,,, shop around too see if I can find something with top tier derailer and cassette,,, Im hard on stuff... lol
