Trail burner day,,,, 6 miles of boots, 4 miles of bike... +10 mid afternoon

8 hour day hanging out in the forest...

Rock'en the trails today... +6 mid-afternoon

Had too ground anchor the bike for a few river bank climbs...

Plant one of the pedals into the frozen creek bank and start tugging forward...

Turning around is not a option when covering ground,,, 40 mile day zig-zagging the singles...

Fresh snow and positive temps yesterday so I got out and groomed 12.5 kms of trail. Couple nights of below freezing should have it setup very nicely.

Getting way back there into the ruff is the best...

drag a weighted small car tire, smooths out the snow and fills in your tire tracks, an e bike with bull low might work? did it lots while clearing pipeline ROW.s end of day drag a 15inch tire with rim or piece of plywood screwed to one side of tire and filled with snow. would go down one side and back on the other, next morning was close to a sidewalk. slow was better!

Mines built from 2-2x6 and a hitch from a sled tobaggan.
Have a small one built from plywood to pull behind the efatty for quick trail tune up.

5 miles of packed down fat tire track today,,,, hopefully 6 or 7 miles tomorrow...

Thick in alot of spots with open sections...

No shortage of zig-zaggs...

Shoot me a pm if your game for vo2 maximum of bike and boots,,, if it's a low snow year this will be one awesome trail...

Hopefully 17 miles when complete...

Its great work-out and spectacular views...

Good chance of getting jumped by a kow Moose or cat...

-36 with a light breeze is still a go,,, I'm caping off at -40 this year... lol

Cold or warm its a go...

Wild land trail off grid... 2 1/2 -hours out of Calgary... 1 1/2 Edmonton... 1 hr out of Red Deer...

Prepped and few more trails,,, Cofffeee Voke-a-cheen-no break and warm up the thumbs...

12 ish miles spread out threw the day...

Top trails are drifted in,,, a bit of packing and there good too go !!!
