Wife and I had a crazy big day. Amazing weather. With Mrs I have to keep it mostly urban. She gets so upset if I take the trails where she has to walk her bike lol
Whyte ave was alive with crazies. Downtown was pretty quiet. 6.5 hrs. 71km round trip from the deep west end. Had Relaxing coffee break. Rear ends are sore. Lol

I'm doing a T-1 bolt and plate with and inclosed cylinder lock bolted and tread welded onto the frame...

Azz-hats are going too need a few batteries and zip blades to get now-,where...

T-1 is dam near impossible too cut with zip-saws and cutting disks,,, thick and heavy yes...

The clowns will be busy...

I'll feed a ( brake wire """too""" a electric horn system ) underneath the farme dully horn system... there friggin loud...

Loud and obnoxious is good,,, box it in so they can't get at it...

They will only cut so far before clipping the hidden wires in the hollow... Lol

The nabours won't like it,,, at least they be out-of-bed too see whats going on...

Maybe i can add some rapped response lights too really freak them out...

The nice thing about the lock-down anchor is I can use it for a few different bikes,,, I throw up some photos once I get it built...

20241006_133816.jpg

Yuppers,,, its that time of year...

Build a ( Lone Pine Cache' ) in the forest then run in and out as need'ed ...

You know the typical bla bla bla...

Knock a few holes in some plastic tubs... bug screen in the bottom then a web of lite plastic strips... fill with throw away nick-nacks...

I might as well prep 2 or 3 Newfoundland fire Cache'es,,, old tarp or 2,,, rope and bungg'es,,, fuvked up hatchet...

Stash away the odd lawn-chair and tree-stump foot stool...

Some days will be warm gear,,, L.C. Wind breaking tarp,,, extra warm mittys and booties...

2 hot thremoses of Cofffeee Vokacheeno's...

Built 2 cache'es incase 1 gets raided by human kind,,, lol

No one's back there in alot of those spots...

Very few folks get out there these days,,, a few would show-up on the weekends but nothing after that...

Its almost like a ghost town back there...

Make a evening thing or camp out at night,,, hike out in the morning when the sun rises...

Just the simple stuff...

No,,, not really,,, just pick a spot close too home...

Urban trails are ok,,, kinda nice too threw in the foot-hills...
20241005_121441.jpg

Spruce,,, Poplar,,, Burch and Pine,,, buck-brush,,, creeks and Beaver-ponds...

Swamp-land and hills,,, bob-in-and-out of the rolly'es...
20240929_135554.jpg

Snow,,, rain,,, wind or shine dosen't matter ,,, the forest is always warmer then in the open...

Dead quiet in the thick of things...

Bike in or hike...

The forest dosen't care when We come or go...

I like too prep the day,,, try too get underway at 10 or 10-thirty...

Go a few miles then relax,,, hike-a-bike in alot of sports,,, utilz the e-walk,,, some times I pedal,,, other times i might ditch the wheels and head in on foot..

A person dosen't really need a plan since your surrounded by trees and every thing else that's out there...

( The good enough feeling. )

Either your in or your not,,, I think its pretty kool crossing paths with the critters & birds that poke around back there...

Some times I run across alot of action,,, other days nothing less a few song-birds,,, Geese and ducks,,, Grouse and such...

The Squirrel population is doing good...
20241006_114942.jpg

45 minutes puts me into the dragon of endless,,, pretty lucky having a play ground like this...

It will be part of the retirement program I'm sure,,, don't get right or wrong... vvv
20240921_101636.jpg

I like the mountains but I love the foot-hills...

Waaaaay less energy and gravity in the foot-hills,,, and a chance too ( Rock the Rolly'es )

A balance of Veriaty...

I'll switch out bikes once the snow rolls in...
20240224_140824.jpg

Frozen creeks and Terrain will make it easy too get around

A person dosen't have too worry about being too cold when there's hills up ahead... lol

Well my new bike got stolen last night out of my truck at tobiano by Kamloops. Locked up, they cut the front axle that was locked to the rack and took off. Probably just trashed it, have no key and charger.

RCMP contacted me yesterday, they raided a theft ring property that they had been investigating and there was my bike, untouched sitting in a building on the property. They didn’t expect to see my bike there, they figured due to the location of where it was stolen from that it would be at another property they are investigating. Constable said it looks in amazing shape still, gotta drive down there and pick it up this week

That’s awesome. I just got a very fair settlement for our ebike yesterday and got a call from cops last night saying they just arrested a guy and he had bike. I’m picking it up today and will see what condition it is in and what insurance wants for it. It looks Ok in pics but is missing all the accessories and handle bars have been painted.
I must say I didn’t have much faith in insurance or the police before but I do now. Insurance adjuster was very cooperative , understanding and helpful and gave me more than I was expecting. The police (EPS) called me a few times asking where I saw the guy and seemed like they were actually concerned and called as soon as they recovered bike .

Picked up the bike, stripped of all accessories and it has some ghetto bars on it, dead battery, scratches and scuffs and dirty. Overall not bad. If I can buy it back for cheap I will .
What’s it called when you drink something really fast? Yeah , that’s who was in possession of the bike, lol.

Number 1 Test run 2024...
20241021_093649.jpg

The suit is good from 42 f too -40/ negative -56 f if a person is packing the high-speed wind wrap around...

It's a old trick i learned off the Alaska Sled dogs when I lived in the North...

Cold is cold

Cold winds kill

The world might be frozen on the out-side,,, the layer(s) between it make it happen...

Arizona warm in the gear no matter what temp it is makes for a awesome winter...

Year 4 if I recall,,, i should of been Moon suiting 30 or 40 years ago...

Best of a cold winter for everyone,,, its the best go too season by far....
