I'd like to try it in March. Only ever ridden boulder mtn when in Revy. How does Eagles compare? Do we need a guide? what's the terrain like?

deep and steep and no cabins definitely go with someone who knows the area first

Terrain is advanced to expert and very technical to get it. Most don't know where to go if they get in. Highly recommended going with someone who knows the area.

I'm not to worried, I can ride boulder on the busiest day of the year and find untracked snow and not have to deal with other riders all day. There's no cabin to sit in at Eagles and the good terrain is too much to handle for most peeps.
