Rode Eagles today with Lund and his wife. Other than the absence of blue skies, it was an excellent day. Found enough fresh powder to play in. Especially the second, more westerly lake along the gas drop trail. Had the most fresh snow of the whole area. We stopped there on the way in. Not a single track. Came back later and trashed it. Just as we finished, a large group popped in. Sorry guys, too late Made our way to Piper Lake and back again. Trail in and out was awesome. Thank you Mr. Groomer!

Blue Lake 5c today, much warmer than yesterdays -3c at Owlhead, groomed trail was mint once again, staged at the bottom Malakwa side, probed 2.4m in back meadows where we always check, snow still good but locks up quick ...like when I planted myself beside a stump down off Cummins Lake this morning haha ...mid week riders club rocks

With the snow melting found some old gear that was buried under the snow not too far from owls staging.
I’m sure whoever lost it gave up looking long ago but thought I’d post on here anyway.
If you lost a pair of goggles let me know what brand and colour and I’ll be happy to get them back to you.

The lost and found for sled club is in the best Western office too, could drop it off there

Buddy lost his goggles on Saturday at Owlhead close to staging area. Had an incident that blew his knee out and we hauled him and his equipment home. He realized his goggles were missing and I went back to look but couldn't find. I don't know the brand. They had heated lenses with a black battery pack on strap.
