Take lots of sunscreen. It's full blown summer out there. Lots of snow left.

you could go a bit farther than 10km up Owls but wasn't really that much gravel to get to the snow.

Hello! Is anyone currently in the sicamous, owl head area? We're currently 10 km up the trail and just got stuck near a Ridge. We got one sled off but will most likely need some help towing the truck out. Truck is a one tonne doulie 2011 dodge. Most likely will need 4 wheel drive help If anyone can spare the time to help out it would be greatly appreciated.

Should have mentioned that we staged right at marker #10. Fairly thick, deep stretch of snow on the road there. Chains and good tires with 4 X 4 singles would pound through it. Should be gone in the next few days if it keeps raining. Once that bit of snow is gone at #10, then you should be able to drive closer to#12. Rode abit of gravel between #10 and #12 and then clear sailing from there.
