only thing i was concerned with was when the suspension on the front traveles up and down, wont the tie rods be out of wack? (eg. when suspension goes down, wheels are pushed out, tie rod on front of wheels stays the same length therefore wheels go severley toe in????) maybe im seeing things wrong...

looks interesting!!!! i know its not finished but curious as to how that front steering linkage is going to work?? post more pictures of your progress when you can!

Wouldnt the steering limit the suspension travel?

Yes.

At the bottom of the steering shaft where it joins your tie rods, you need to lengthen the arm that comes off the bottom of the steering shaft and move the points where the tie rods attach out more towards the end of the arm. Or where your tie rods attach to the spindles at the wheels, you can move lengthen the arms and move the pivot point out there also. Either of these should reduce your ratio.

As for it moving, you've got the whole sled transmission, it should go just like a sled, I think you might have too high of a gear ratio, as dooryder stated. Can you post a pic of the gears and how it hooks up to the driveshaft?

Don't bother with the pics, you already answered my question in the other thread. 17 is top gear, too tall IMO. Go to the 11 or 12 tooth.
