Been going to our local one for a few years now. Always a good time

Wish I was closer otherwise we would come, to good of a time not to go. The wife and I probably hit 4-5 of the DU events every year. Do they have open bar in Alberta as well?

Right on .. du has stopped sponsoring local shooting events, namely a sporting clays event in Chetwynd , and they are aligned with y2y , they won’t be getting any of my cash going forward.

I'm now aware that they are part of Y2Y, but will certainty inquire into this tomorrow. I have been going for years and this would be a deterrent for sure, thanks for the heads up.

Perhaps an “Alberta unlimited banquet dinner.” Instead of saving wetlands we can save oil patch workers, the silent auction can consist of signed posters from the strip club and oil change coupons from the dodge dealers.

It is my understanding that when they purchase a wetland, they set the tone for "in perpetuity" or in lay man's terms, forever. They have very strict usage rules and DU owns the piece forever. Another similar situation to the Nature Conservacy of Canada/
