I'm just wondering what exactly it is about the BRP steering system that you guys like, and the Polaris system you dislike? There is always the back and forth that one is better, but no one gives reasons. Did they change the steering on the XM at all, or is it still an over the top steering post like the XP?

As far as i could tell from facebook brp dropped him cause it was too much cost to them to have him sponsored. EVEN though because of his promoting of the xm last spring his brp dealer had the best selling season to date.

IMHO BRP can take Rassmusen and show him up their arse! Dropping a good Canadian boy for a washed up Yank. F that along with their price gouging. Disgusted with that company.

Sticker price to sticker price, isn't a Doo cheaper this year?

Sucks they couldn't keep Treadway. That's the way the game goes though.

Here in Saskatoon the XM was actually cheaper than the Pro this year.

Clearly someone at BRP has their head way up their azz. I think the same jackazz that thought it would be a good idea to dump Dan was the same azzhat that decided it would be cool to sell new sleds with no pull start if they had e start pull is an option:jaw: u cheap fawks. Seriously next they'll be glueing their chit together. Rant complete.:realmad::smiliestirthepot::chainsaw::crapfan:

Well if they learn anything from Polaris, hopefully it is to let that glue cure properly.

I'm guessing that if they thought the success of the XM was because of him, they would have kept him on.

It's funny how people think that some of the paid, sponsored "movie star" riders are the important ones...

What about the "not so big" name ambassadors to the sport?
The people who have everyday jobs and actually love it for not just the $$$ and monster stickers, caps and shirts....

Think of it this way.....which I'm sure most do,,,,like many I enjoy seeing what the top guys get up to each year. Does it actually influence my sled purchase that year? No. All the pros can rip what they like/paid for but it doesn't mean any more sales. At least to the likes of me. I'll enjoy watching dan ride on a poo just as much as the doo. But I'll still ride my doo. That's just mho.

LOL And what smoke filled room did the teeter-totter rear suspension come from??? "Here you go kiddies we just got high in the park and thought this would work for our flat assed handling chassis... Oh ya and we put the skis right next to each other because it handles like crap! But lets not change the chassis there is no issue there!" LMAO

Good fun! Ride what you like and have localish support for.
