No bash...just a question. That one had the bandaid and it broke so what is the clamp meant to do? was all.

That is not a Polaris clamp nor is it in the correct position, it would be the same as not having a clamp at all. Does that answer your question?

The clamp is supposed to sit right over where it broke. Going from what CUSO said, it must have slipped down, which meant it either wasn't installed correctly in the first place, or there was something wrong with the clamp that it wouldn't hold.

WTF......that one has two clamps and it broke.

that's not even the correct clamps from Polaris. the recall clamp is designed different than that as well as its placement over the end of the shaft. They also only install one on the drive side, which happens to be the side taking all the torque. I have installed quite a few with 0 failures. A few of which are installed on boosted sleds with no problem.

My Buddy Steve knows Dan quite well, we actually have the turbo kit from his etec on the way to install on Steve's. Can't wait to see that rip. Roo bad Dan and BRP had a falling out, he'll do good for Polaris though.

It's some weird cult thing. You can't possibly backcountry snow mobile with that pork and bean operation

So the first thing Brett Rasmussen changed on his new doo was the insane steering that you guys love so much, and what do you think will be the first change that doo makes from his input? They did not bring him on board to just show off his riding skills, he will have some input in the new sleds and that retarded steering post angle will be the first thing that gets thrown in the garbage. Treadway will have no problem adjusting.

Treadway is super talented, no doubt we will see him tearing it up on his new Pro-Ride in next seasons films.

I think BRP should have done what they had to do to keep him though.
