Hey looking for a bit of help, had clutches rebuilt this season rode about 300km and belt started to squeal at idle. Changed belt no change noise still there. Was riding yesterday, fired sled in morning no noise but as the day went on noise got progressively worse and sled got harder to pull over, clutches dragging. Pulled it apart today and they don't appear to be stuck or binding. Only run factory belts any suggestions?

Thanks

Hey Jon,sounds like the belt is riding too high in the secondary, which makes it seem like the belt is short. Give it the ol' two finger test. Lay a straight edge on top of belt, when on machine, use index finger and forefinger, push down, fingers should be even with bottom of straight edge. Also, make sure clutches move freely. Absolutely no hesitation what so ever. Hope this helps

Thanks, checked for play, minimal amount in the secondary. Gave her the two finger test, adjusted accordingly and problem seems to be gone. Thanks for the help.
