I'm not trying to downplay anything, I simpy posted a link about some idiotic Bruins fans. Some people here like to compare a half dozen looney Bruins fans to the thousands that rioted in Vancouver, saying that Boston is just as bad. I just don't see it myself.

As i've said before, canucks fans don't let a little thing like facts screw up their argument.

did you not hear the team has been kicked out of the NHL after their drinking party. Apparently their alcohol tab was $156,000. One bottle of champagne was $100,000 alone. :d:d

If I just won the cup, and I had 1000000+ coming in a year, plus my big phucking cup bonus yer damn skippy I'd blow a couple hundred thousand on a party. Screw 1 bottle of the good stuff......gimme a few

Everyone's favorite thread is now open for comments. Yeah I know, the B's are sucking it pretty bad right now but I think they will turn it around soon and start winning games. 2 losses in a row to the Canadiens isn't helping our cause though...............

I think both Bruins and Canucks are going thru SC playoff hang over. Not enough time to recovered. I am sure as the season progresses they will be back to their old fit.

no matter how bad Boston is this year come, June they will be one of only a maximum of 2 teams that can say they have won a cup within the past 12 months....I doubt Vancouver will be able to say the same...

2 impressive wins over 2 good teams and Seguin gets his first hatty. Hopefully this is the start of something good for the Bruins. Looking forward to seeing them play tonight on Versus.

Cant believe Lucic did not get a suspension. Again hate to repeat myself but seems that Boston has a few "get out of jail" free cards from the NHL. Just my 2 cents worth

Shanahan has done a good job this year with dealing out suspensions and he made the right call on this one. Still pissed that they brought the cup home to Beantown huh eclipse?? Sour grapes is all it is.

No penalty there, goalie is fair game outside his lines. I played goal and you know the risks when you chase the puck outside your crease.

no sour grapes here but wonder how some plays get called and the obvious ones dont. Take a look at Kerry fraser's take on it.

Also, I dont think I am the only one thinking this way. TSN poll shows 69% thought it was a cheap shot.

You can do all the polls you want, bottom line is Shanahan has the final say on these matters. You all talk about how there's no whining and crying in hockey, what do you call this? Sour grapes is all that it is. Who is Kerry Frasier? Is he a Canuck fan?

Funny they never mention anything about Miller taking a swing at Lucic with his stick, if he had hit him I can guarantee you that Miller would be recovering in the hospital while on suspension from the NHL. Matt Cooke basically ended Marc Savards career with his illegal hit and he never even got a penalty for it, nevermind a suspension, if Shanny would have been in charge he would have been suspended for a long time.

yup Shanahan messed up on this one as it sends the wrong msg imo. As for who is Kerry Frasier, um not sure if this is a legit question you are asking but in case you are not aware he is a recently retired NHL ref. If I were Miller I would have done the exact thing. There should be some respect for each other and tackling a goalie with all his gear on should be off limits regardless if he is in the crease or not. After all this is a game and too many guys out there doing stupid things. Regarding Matt Cooke, no argument from me on that subject. I agree. Anyway, all I am saying is if the NHL is serious about clamping down on the players they have to be accountable for their actions and they also need to know what is going to be called and what is not. That goes for ALL teams including the Canucks!
