And IF Boston had put 1 in the net in game 1 or 5 instead of hitting the posts we wouldn't be having this conversation and the Cup would be in Boston already. But it ain't and we have a game 7 so let it go already.
Screaming 'Faker' and 'We want the cup' when there is an injured player on the ice is a true testament to the level of class and sportsmanship evident in Boston...true sportsmen would NEVER behave that way...They'd remain quiet, respectful and cheer when the player rises either on his own steam, or with help. Now we hear he's out 4-6 MONTHS on a 'legal hit'!!!! It was a rather LATE hit, was it not? It was a lot later than the 1 second Rome was late for, on his Horton hit...and I recognize that Rome's hit WAS late...but was Raymond playing the puck? Was it in his possession? Was he NOT being interfered with??? Again no call...The blatant miscalls (or no calls) in this series will be it's legacy. Nothing to be proud of NHL...and as for you Boston fans...spend some time in other cities...where you might learn respect...for the players and the fans!!!! But somehow, I doubt it.
Still crying about the loss huh? I never said he touched the puck...but he was playing the puck and was already engaged with boychuck....boychuck simply finished the hit....they were both sliding into the boards. I don't like seeing guys hurt, but if your going to get in arms about that play let's talk about the icing hit from vancouver....that was intent to injure....even cherry called it....

It's a little late to be careful!!! lolI'd be careful about calling a win before the game is even played. Boston hasn't lost a series clinching game in the playoffs and they are due for a road victory.
If ever there was an intent to injure, it was the hit on Peverley by Edler. Instead of going after the puck he goes after Peverley, a dirty play if there ever was one. Read it and weep.
Rule 81, paragraph 3. Any contact between opposing players while pursuing the puck on an icing must be for the sole purpose of playing the puck and not for eliminating the opponent from playing the puck. Unnecessary or dangerous contact could result in penalties being assessed to the offending player.

We will see how that game play's out. Horton was the one who scored the past 2 game 7 game winning goals. And also loungo's gga at home is .067 for the playoffs.
