it's too bad that the OEM's have made the engine packages so small now and there is no room for monster big bores.....but turbo's have filled this need for HP quite well and are getting better every year.....it is good to see that the Boost-it crew is building for more than Poo/Yamaha now, a true canadian company that will bend over backwards to help you out until you are happy.....every sled seems to a day here and there that they just aren't right (stock or modded), and as for a turbo sled, clutch maintenance is key, the clutchs take a beating, keep them maintained and they rock.....you just can't ignore a turbo like a stocker

Ok to set the record straight, we were in Keystone dec 13th, keystone never got the rain that boulder did so the snow was nice and soft. we lined up at the bottom of the hill and took off
i prob had 6-7 sled lengths on him by the time we crested the top. I have rode the pro a number of times over the past few years, and its not even close the the pull of my XM on 5lb.
the doo motor should pull harder than the poo as the doo starts with more power,so lb boost for boost the doo should make more power.were both of you running the same tracks,do both of you weight the same?

Last year my M1000 was close to Paul's mtntk pro at 7 lbs, this year with new fuel filter, new map, new clutching and him still running 7 lbs in the mountains it's not even close. We can't believe its the same sled. It's so much better, has me thinking a lot about turbos for next year. Paul had talked to Neil and helped a bit with clutching but also said his boost it kits this year are way better than a couple years ago. Like everything technology is just getting better and better.
yup the new pro kits are quite a bit faster than the old kits, since they ride them every weekend they are always tweaking on them & trying new things to make them better.they have a new cat kit that they are working on too that should rock.

yes all kits come with boost -it fuel controller, the use aem a/f guages & autometer 2 5/8 boost gauges with cr racing pods & bar clamp.there is no real power diff between the tial kit & the garrett, except the tial uses a stainless exaust housing.if you rode them back to back you probably couldnt tell the diff, the tial looks allot cooler though if that makes a diff & tial kit is about 1000$ more.let me know what you want pics of & i can try to get them for yah.
this is what you get for 6700$ garrett kit
Garrett turbo, water to air intercooler, Turbosmart BOV and boost control, primary and secondary clutching, stainless muffler with belly and tunnel dump, intake air temp and barometric pressure compensation

Interesting. I'd like to see the second intercooler in the tunnel. The kit for 5g or slightly less Neil was speaking about. What will that kit have in it?

So is the tial kit externally gated thou and the Garrett an internal wastegate? Just wondering if there will be any difference in response on the 2 kits. These prices you were talking is that installed or just for the kits? Sounds good thou.

this is the cooler in the tunnel that the coolant flows through to chill it.

yes tial kit is externally gated & garrett external gated, the external gate should have a bit better response but most people could not tell the diff, power wise both turbos make the same hp till you get over 400hp.
