looks like boondocker has released there kit for the etec....any good running turbos ive been on were boondocker....exciting. i know boondocker was working on a kit about a year before the etecs release. this may be the kit to have! cant wait to see it on the snow.

i think i might lean towards the non intercooled version....that cooler over the exhaust looks more like an air heater than anything.

Looks like a clean install, no loss of headlights with the intercooler either.

Or its pulling the hot air upwards. Either way, its only speculation until someone has one. I'd like to ride one. Atleast try it.

Something you are looking towards maxwell?

interesting that they didn't due their typical tunnel dump exhaust

also really like the location of the EBC above the headlights

very clean kit

$5995....you have to really want to turbo an Etec.[/QUOTE Thats kinda cheap compared tothe money i put in my two nitro turbos. Ive never been a doo fan or owner but this is good news for doo riders. Cant wait to see it . And like maxwell said. Boondockers kits run sweet on the two strokes.

only 5g without the intercooler...probly another 300 for the ebc though.

but why would the ski doo need a turbo? this guy maxwell on snow and mud says they're the best? had to take a poke, hoping to meet you crazies this winter and get a ride in, at the very least a beer for the entertainment, trying to talk my buddy into slamming this on his freeride but he and I are the same when it comes to the liking the whole pull and go of a basically stock machine, may be limited to certain pulls and types of riding depending on conditions but he and I rode our scrap steel every ride all year trouble free and that counts more than the two amazing rides the modded up guys tend to hang on to IMO, unless you're exceptionally good with the mechanics of a 2 stroke or have piles of money around or time off to not worry about missed days, I have a hard time seeing why guys go all out on mods unless they have that perfect setup. Mind you when the end of this season comes and we're ready for new or rebulds were both talking big bores, turbos seem too touchy, very limited mechanics that can set them up correct from what I've seen

LOL.

your right, they are the best in factory form. and also not really for my style of riding. however if funds allow who doesnt want a high hp project. i would never have a turbo as my main sled. just to many factors that keep it from running consistant day after day.

that being said a good working turbo sled is a blast to ride and i hope to have one sitting next to my stocker one day soon.
