PS...where are the pics of your sons? :D hehe jk

I'm not computer savy to post pictures, so will have to ask for help on that one.
Found a picture. ROTFLMAO

Oldest son builds almost anything so he could tig weld the cracks on your sled. I'll call him and tell him he is volunteering to do it at no charge. LOL

Picture of his latest creation: Shakes (cummins 4X4)

bahahahaa! Nice pic! hehehe. Nothing but class hey?! So you can weld that? I wasn't sure. I know a couple welders, but wasn't sure it was possible. You can see it cracked fully on the one side and the other side is bowed out and starting to crack. Too many rolls I guess...tee hee! :D Or probably was there when the crook sold it to me. Grrr.

Wife said " you can't put that picture on there" I was laughing so hard I could hardly breath.

Easier to weld up before you put motor back in. Maybe check with DOO to see price of just that piece.

the only time i have ever seen a crack and ripple there was on a sled that got bucked off the trailer.I would take both those steering post bolts out and move the back bolt to where the front bolt is and then drill a new hole for the front hole.It will take the flat spot out of your bars and get that awful angle out of the steering post to your riser.puts everything more in line, way nicer feel imo..I don't have pics of it but done it on a few revs and i got the c3 kit for my xp..

Oh you were one of the awesome guides?! Yay! Thats so awesome! I had Laird and Dusty and they were amazing.

You sons aren't interested in sledding?!?!?! What?! Oh man I wish I was as lucky to have my family into anything like this. My family thinks I'm crazy and they don't know where I get it, haha. I haven't exactly followed the "what I'm supposed to do" path that I think they had laid out for me.

Well I always like meeting new people, but Snow and Mud the dating site? :p hehe. :p I am single but am just fine where I'm at lol :D

!!!!

Obviously your a closet headcase..... there is ALWAYS a reason....

Just emailed Bow South to see the price. Can't figure out what part it is online.

If that's the case then I bet it was like that when I got it. I really can't picture what you are saying to be honest. Visual learner here! lol. I'm gonna see what cost is for new on that and maybe weld it up for a quick fix.

What your looking for is called a bracket block 518 323 854 and retail price is $60.99 CAN... I would just replace it, to do a proper weld repair (welding the backside) is difficult on that piece, however it is possible.

why are you drianing the oil tank?? contamination?

Want to run quality oil. Bought full synthetic and figured I'd start it off right. Drain the Snow Motul out and put in the Spectro Full Synthetic right off the hop.

I'm sure there are a few on here who would gladly take you out for a proper dinner, headcase or not.....

Bwahahahaha..............

Very cool progress on the sled, I know all too well what it's like to go into a major repair like that knowing bubkiss....

The peeps on this site walked me thru my first top end rebuild step by step and I've got over 1000km on it since then.... I mixed my first 2 tanks 40:1 just to be safe.....

haha that's ok...if I wanted a free meal I'd hit up Plenty of Fish like all the other girls! haha, jk. I can feed myself just fine. Just no fun money, thank goodness I have a good liquor supply already...phew!

That's awesome! I love that I'm learning and doing it myself. My guy friends teach me a LOT and the guys on here have a lot of knowledge. Good to tap into. I was going to put some oil in the tank for first ride for sure. Don't want to eff this engine up.

Whoop! Got Suction gun, some brake clean and shop towels for tonight. Getting pumped!

Hemi, stopped by Auto Part Source to get this stuff figured I'd say hi to Brett and he wasn't there!

I'm not a Nickelback fan, but this song gets me PUMPED!
