I thought about that, but the existing cluch side piston is unscathed... not a knick on it, so I figured at $210 per piston I'd save myself the 210 and reuse mine..... realistically if I get picky I can turn my $200 rebuild into a $1500 rebuild (head, 2 pistons, ect) I have a new set of rings for the existing piston so I was just gonna change the rings..... Is that thinking fugged???????
I can see the way you are thinking, it is a 50/50 either way. As long as you can rip it up on your trip, right now that is all that counts
